salamou alikom!! yesterday i had a huge argument with some members of my family including my father! they almost accused me of "alkofr" only because i told them that we should not mention mohammed's name peace be upon him in our prayers !! i talked to them about many ideas that you believe in and i know that it will be hard to convince them with many of what i have started to believe in for more than 6 years now but as aan argument they wanted me to buy is that what they are doing is not and cannot be for any reason what i called "cherk" because they do not pray for Mohammed pbuh they are rather praying for god and mentioning the prophet's name (which is only in tachahhod)does not make them mochrikin because of good faith!! they told me if mentioning names other than god's name is wrong so why we mention our names and our family names and in soujoud asking god then for good health and success,..!! is it chirk also? they said we mention his name for the same purpose we want to send some greetings to him and his family and all other prophets that's it? where is the problem? what shall i do to convince them? thanks
