Hello, I need to know what is the use of the hymen? Why did God create it whereas it was going to be broken sooner or later? If it is a criterion upon which we deem whether a female had sexual practices before marriage then it will be easy to cheat on the partner because it is common that we could enjoy sex without full penetration therefore there is no possibility for the husband to find that out and if it were so; has not God predicted that surgery would develop and succeed in repairing it? Besides, why do we use it only against females while there is no means to verify the piousness of males ? Do u know how we suffer in our Arab-Islamic world when they inoculate us since our childhood that " hymen" is the best gift you can offer to your husband , and we bear this burden should we loose it anyway. I don't understand ; why did God create it ????

Hello, as far as I know some female animals has got a hymen too. We do not ask why Allah has created something or has not. It is mentioned in Sourat Tahrim ( chapter Prohibition) " previously married and virgins" verse 5. However this content does not refer to the current concept of verginity.
Islam does not evoke this matter, in addition former Arab tribes paid no tribute to such issue, even in the aftermath Islamic jurisprudence scholars have not mentioned it. It belongs to some heritage from other cultures such as circumcisions for females and males
