This Is a Corrupt, Prohibited Form of Marriage
Published in May 7, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Can a woman make herself a gift to a man and announce verbally that she is his wife and she is entirely his slave owned by him? This marriage entails no contracts or paying dowries, I think. Is it OK to marry this way as far as Quranism is concerned? … Thank you …
Answer:
This is a corrupt, prohibited form of marriage; this is a sin known as fornication. You misunderstand this verse: "...and a believing woman who has offered herself to the prophet, if the prophet desires to marry her, exclusively for you, and not for the believers..." (33:50); this verse indicates a special legislation confined only to Muhammad as a woman proposed to him and agreed to cede her dowry when she legally married him. As for marriages in Islam, it is a duty that dowries must be paid to wives by their husbands. Later on, wives might willingly cede part of the dowries to their husbands or keep the entirety of their dowries. By the way, slavery is never part of Islam; we refer you to our book, in English, titled "Slavery: A Fundamental Historical Overview" (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=87).

Retirement Money and Divorce
Published in May 7, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … The monthly retirement payment of my late father was LE 5000, and when he died, and since I'm his only daughter, I desire to have this monthly retirement payment as this is the only inheritance I could have; yet, as per laws in Egypt, I have no right to receive this monthly retirement payment since I'm married. My husband tells me we should get divorced if I desire such a sum, since monthly retirement payment of dead people can continue to be paid to widows and female divorced inheritors; my husband said he'd re-marry me later on verbally without legal contracts and I can stay with him and our kids at home! I feel uncomfortable about this deceit! Is it OK to do so to get my right? What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
You have no right to demand this monthly retirement payment; your dead father, who was a government employee, had his contract and he agreed to all its conditions. God commands us to honor and fulfill our contracts: "O you who believe! Honor your contracts..." (5:1); hence, if you resort to deceitful ways to get this monthly retirement payment which is not your right, you will be consuming ill-gotten money; this is prohibited in Islam. Besides, when the local authorities discover that you have remarried your husband in secret, after presenting divorce papers to get such money, you will be imprisoned for stealing governmental money.

Sanctifying the Copies of the Quran
Published in May 7, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I'm convinced now that Quranism is the Only True Islam; I agree with your criticism of the Sunnite religion and of the notions/tenets of the Muhammadans; yet, I tend to think that you are wrong (unless you provide me with a proof from the Quran itself) when you have written that the Muhammadans sanctify/deify copies of the Quran; naturally, I, as well as any Muslims, will never accept the desecration of copies of the Quran by any non-Muslims; this does NOT mean that I deify or sanctify copies of the Quran or that I treat them as 'holy' items to be used to draw benediction or to bless a location, as this is pure polytheism I'm sure. By the way, I like very much your English article titled "Desecration Of The Holy Quran" (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=8062) … Thank you …
Answer:
The copies of the Quran are not holy items in themselves; they are paper and ink. If some ignoramuses or disbelievers desecrate or tear copies of the Quran on camera for political reasons, this does not harm the Quran and this will never have any effect on it. Such videos aim to stir the Wahabi masses and provoke their ire; the only right reaction to such videos is to ignore them and make no response; non-response is the right response in such cases. Those who insult God and His Word in order to repel people away from God's Path, the Quran, will be published only by God (never by human beings) in this world and the next one. Likewise, contrary to the popular belief among the masses in the Arab world, the Arabic tongue is NOT a holy language with holy letters or alphabet. If the Quran were in other tongues; e.g., Russian or Japanese, it would have been written in such tongues. Those who wish to avoid polytheism are not to deify items and things: this applies to Quran copies in Arabic and the translated Quran copies in all languages. There is nothing called 'holy' tongue or language; the Russian and the Japanese Muslims, for instance, cannot understand the Quran in Arabic and they will not sanctify the Arabic alphabet. The holiness or sanctity is only for the meanings of the Quran as it is the Word of God. As for your requesting a proof from the Quran itself to support our view, we remind you with the story of Moses when he was furious as the Israelites worshiped a golden statue of a calf during his absence to receive the Tablets from this Lord God containing the Scripture at Mount Al-Tur in Sinai, Egypt, and he threw the tablets on the floor in his fit of fury. These Tablets are not holy; otherwise, Moses would not have thrown them: "And when Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed, he said, "What an awful thing you did in my absence. Did you forsake the commandments of your Lord so hastily?" And he threw down the Tablets; and he took hold of his brother's head, dragging him towards himself..." (7:150); "When the anger abated in Moses, he took up the Tablets. In their transcript is guidance and mercy for those in awe of their Lord." (7:154).

Confessing Was Obligatory in This Case
Published in May 9, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … God says in the Quran: "...Had they, when they wronged themselves, come to you, and prayed for God's forgiveness, and the Messenger had prayed for their forgiveness, they would have found God Relenting and Merciful." (4:64). What is means by praying for forgiveness here? You have convinced me that the Messenger in most Quranic verses is the Message: the Quran itself and that it is polytheistic to worship the abomination known as the Yathreb mausoleum dedicated to Muhammad and ask Muhammad (who is dead) to intercede on our behalf to make God forgive us … Thank you …
Answer:
Muhammad is commanded in the Quran to seek God's forgiveness and glorify His name (see our article, in English, on this link: http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=14234). As for the verse 4:64, it is mentioned in the context about the story of some hypocrites who were inveterate liars and conspired against the Yathreb city-state led by Muhammad: "When the hypocrites come to you, they say, "We bear witness that you are God's Messenger." God knows that you are His Messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars. They treat their oaths as a cover, and so they repel others from God's path. Evil is what they do." (63:1-2); they were too proud to confess their sin to Muhammad and to request from him that he would implore God to make Him forgive them and accept their repentance: "And when it is said to them, "Come, the messenger of God will ask forgiveness for you," they bend their heads, and you see them turning away arrogantly. It is the same for them, whether you ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them; God will not forgive them. God does not guide the sinful people." (63:5-6). Confessing their guilt was obligatory in this case; this is as per God's command to the sinners/hypocrites (during Muhammad's lifetime in Yathreb) if they wished to make amends and turn a new leaf by stopping their evil scheming. This is NOT about the myth of intercession at all; prophets/messengers during their lifetimes, after their death, and in the Last Day never intercede on behalf of anyone and neither do the so-called 'holy' saints deified by the polytheists. Similarly, the brothers of Joseph requested from their father, Jacob, to ask for God's pardon and forgiveness for their sin after they confessed their guilt and their deceiving him: "They said, "Father, pray for the forgiveness of our sins; we were indeed at fault." He said, "I will ask my Lord to forgive you. He is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful."" (12:97-98). Again, confessing their guilt was obligatory in this case in the story of Joseph and Jacob.

The Preposition (Upon) in the Quran
Published in May 9, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I cannot understand the preposition (upon) in the Quranic text; is it intended to be understood literally or figuratively? Any ideas? I desire that you explain this preposition to me within the context of these two verses: "These are upon guidance from their Lord..." (2:4); "So adhere to what is revealed to you. You are upon a Straight Path." (43:43) … Thank you …
Answer:
This preposition indicates literally and figuratively those who, during their lifetimes, adhere within piety to the only source of guidance, or the Straight Path, granted from the Lord God to humanity: the Quran. This Straight Path will literally lead them straight to Paradise in the Hereafter.

Is Mercy Confined to Some People and Not Everyone?
Published in May 9, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Is the mercy of God confined to some people and not everyone? I mean, is it confined to followers of Muhammad?! What about the rest of people? What about the monotheistic People of the Book? … I desire that you answer me while referring to these Quranic verses in particular: ""And inscribe for us goodness in this world, and in the Hereafter. We have turned to You." He said, "My torment - I inflict it upon whomever I will, but My mercy encompasses all things. I will specify it for those who act righteously and practice regular charity, and those who believe in Our Verse." Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet of the Gentiles, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel in their possession. He directs them to righteousness, and deters them from evil, and allows for them all good things, and prohibits for them wickedness, and unloads the burdens and the shackles that are upon them. Those who believe in him, and respect him, and support him, and follow the light that came down with him - these are the successful." (7:156-157) … Thank you …
Answer:
The phrase (...My torment - I inflict it upon whomever I will, but My mercy encompasses all things...) includes all humanity. In all eras and locations, before and after the birth and death of Muhammad, there have been human beings who are faithful monotheistic believers who have performed good deeds within piety and they are guided as they believed in all Scriptures of the Lord God and will enter into Paradise by God's mercy. There are also monotheists who believe in the Quran as the Last Message from God to humanity; those who follow the Quran conveyed by Muhammad are the real monotheists now; Muhammad is sent to all human beings in all eras; the People of the Book of today should believe in the Quran if they seek to be included within God's mercy. God's mercy is available for all human beings who choose to be guided by the Quran; this is the great fact you should bear in mind: "Say, "O people, I am the Messenger of God to you all - He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no God but He. He gives life and causes death." So believe in God and His Messenger, the Prophet of the Gentiles, who believes in God and His Words. And follow him, that you may be guided." (7:157); "We did not send you except as mercy to the humankind." (21:107).

Subtitling the Episodes of "Quranic Moments"
Published in May 10, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I advise you to provide English subtitles to your great episodes of your YouTube show "Quranic Moments"; there so many non-Arabs who are curious and desire to know about Islam as the Religion of Truth from the Lord God, and the minds of those non-Arabs are not controlled by clergymen and rulers, unlike the case of most Arabs among the Muhammadans … Thank you …
Answer:
We are surprised indeed that you have not noticed yet the fact that all our videos on our YouTube channel are subtitled into English: all of the episodes of "Exposing Salafism", Friday sermons, and "Quranic Moments''. They are subtitled into English by the Egyptian translator, Mr. Ahmed Fathy, who also voluntarily undertakes the mission of translating our books, fatwas, and articles into English (and translating some of our books and articles into French as well) for the sake of serving God's Religion. May God reward him in this world and in the Hereafter.

Settling of Debts
Published in May 10, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … A man has borrowed from me a sum of money in Saudi Riyals (SR), but he insists on settling his debt in Egyptian Pounds (LE or livre égyptienne)! This is not acceptable, right?! This is cheating and swindling, right?! What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
If he is a pious person, he should be honest and settle his debt in SR or in other currency which has the same value, provided that you give your consent first; he is not to impose anything on you. Otherwise, this is cheating and swindling and is part of consuming ill-gotten money by deceit.

Ramadan and Heritage Books
Published in May 10, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I take pride in being a Quranist Muslim young woman thanks to you and to your great Quranism website which debunks many myths and show True Islam for all those who seek guidance … I desire to ask about the fuss of the Muhammadans in the Arab world (and those Muhammadans in the West countries) about the crescent as the mark of the beginning of lunar Hijri months, esp. the fasting month of Ramadan; why does Ramadan begin (and also end) in different days in several countries?! Why do such contradictions exist? Many dear friends of mine (who are well-bred, with good manners, high moralistic level, and high levels of culture and education and know several foreign tongues) are converting to atheism (or on the verge of atheism) because of what they've read in heritage books of Wahabi/Sunnite traditions and hadiths, etc. How shall I convince them to read your great archive of writings within your Quranism website to get to know the True Islam? I could not convince them because I'm not a good, persuasive talker; I'm only an excellent listener. Any advice? I really desire to save my friends! I wanna undeceive my peaceful Sunnite friends who assume they are guided and refuse to listen to my advice to check the Quranism website! Any advice in this respect? … Thank you …
Answer:
We refer you to our book on fasting to find answers to your question about Ramadan. The beginning and end of the fasting month of Ramadan should depend on astronomical calculations and not on the nonsensical and whimsical seeing of the crescent with the naked eye. Please, our dear daughter, we urge you not to feel anxious or sad about those who deliberately choose to be misguided instead of seeking the Quranic Truth; they never believe in the Hereafter; they are free to (dis)believe in the Quran and to (dis)obey God. On the Last Day, all human beings will be held responsible and accountable for the religious choices they have made during their lifetimes. Those who believe in God and in the Hereafter must seek guidance and they should be keen on searching for it. God in the Quran has told Muhammad not to be saddened by those who have chosen disbelief and misguidance and by those polytheists who assume they are 'guided' while taking falsehoods as the truth and deeming the Truth as falsehood.

About Resurrection
Published in May 11,2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I understand from your ponderings of the Quran that those who are killed for God's sake while serving His cause enter into a Barsakh Paradise and they enjoy provisions, pleasures, etc. until the end of days … Yet, would they be expelled from such a Barsakh Paradise to be resurrected, gathered, and judged like the rest of human souls, despite their entering into the Eternal Paradise anyway when the Hour takes place? What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
The Quran tells us that Resurrection and Judgment are for all human beings without exceptions at all. Of course, this means that those in Barsakh Paradise will be resurrected when the Hour takes place and they will be judged before their entering into the Eternal Paradise after the Last Day. As for how their souls live and enjoy the pleasures of the temporary Barsakh Paradise and how they will be resurrected, etc., this is part of the metaphysical realm of the unknown, the invisible, and the future and we must not tackle such a topic since the Quran does not provide details about it. Any guesses about such a topic would be myths which have nothing to do with Islam.

About Reading the Quran
Published in May 11, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I typically force myself to read a certain number of Quranic Chapters on a daily basis so that I read the entire Quran once every week; sometimes, I perform this daily duty with happiness and spiritual joy; yet, in some other days, I feel that I've burdened myself with a devoir or something like unbearable school homework! Such negative sentiments make me feel remorse and I blame myself; in such a case, shall I stop or postpone reading the Quran so as not to lose the fruit of piety? What do you think? Is the reward of reading the Quran in such cases will be less than reading it when one feels spiritual joy? … Thank you …
Answer:
Before you read the Quran, you must seek refuge in God against Satan; God has commanded Muhammad himself to do so: "When you read the Quran, seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast." (16:98); "When a temptation from the Devil provokes you, seek refuge in God; He is the Hearer, the Knower." (41:36); "And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the urgings of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they become present."" (23:97-98). This means that whisperings of the devils go on within our souls all our lifetimes, as devils try ceaselessly to district us during reading the Quran and during prayers to deprive us of attaining piety and of pondering the Quran deeply. We suggest to you that you should not read the Quran unless you first retrieve (as much as possible) your positive, good mood by contemplating on creations/creatures of God in the universe and in nature; when you begin reading the Quran, you must seek refuge in the Lord God against Satan; you must read slowly while pondering deeply on the Quranic verses; thus, your heart/soul will sense the jewels/gems of meanings of the Quranic text. Thus, you will learn from the Quran things which you have never known before. May God help you and guide you to His Straight Path.

Food Items Dedicated to Other than God
Published in May 14, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Among the forbidden/prohibited food items in the Quran is the following: "He has forbidden you...and what was dedicated to other than God..." (2:173); my question is as follows: does this prohibited food include only sacrificial animals slaughtered at mausoleums, or does it include all type of food items offered in honor of, or within reverence/celebration and worship of, entombed deities/saints? … Thank you …
Answer:
We refer you to our subtitled-into-English Episode No. 338 of our show "Quranic Moments" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4-SL6oHEc8), and you will find in it the answer to your question. We assert here that God prohibits all food items (meat or anything else) which are offered at the mausoleums within worshiping/celebrating saints/deities/idols in festivals or away from the times of festivals. This applies to all food offered as oblation, whether it is slaughtered meat or not (fruits, grains, veggies, etc.) or any food items/plates prepared in any way, since they are food items dedicated as offerings to other than God. Sadly, the Muhammadans in Egypt consume such prohibited food items within the festivals or celebrations of mausoleums of male and female 'holy' saints (e.g., Hussein and Zeinab) and other saints worshiped and deified by Sufis, Sunnites, and Shiites. Such prohibited food items are abominations, even when they are offered without celebrations/festivals.

About the Unique Quranic Style
Published in May 14, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Why does the name of Ishmael come in this verse without directly following the name of Abraham his father: "As Abraham raises the foundations of the House, together with Ishmael, "Our Lord, accept it from us, You are the Hearer, the Knower." (2:127)? I means why this verse is not phrased as (As Abraham and Ishmael raise the...)? Any ideas? … Thank you …
Answer:
This style found in the Arabic syntactic structure of the verse 2:127 indicates that Abraham did most of the work, helped within a lesser extent by Ishmael; besides, we surmise (i.e., this is our own personal view) that Ishmael is mentioned in this manner as the meaning of his name is (God hears my words/prayers) and it is directly linked to the Hearer, one of the Holy Names or Holy Epithets of the Lord God.

Making No Distinction among God's Prophets/Messengers
Published in May 14, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … God says the following in the Quran: "And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, and you will be guided." Say, "Rather, the religion of Abraham, the Monotheist; he was not a polytheist." Say, "We believe in God; and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes; and in what was given to Moses and Jesus; and in what was given to the prophets-from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we surrender." If they believe in the same as you have believed in, then they have been guided. But if they turn away, then they are in schism. God will protect you against them; for He is the Hearer, the Knower." (2:135-137); "Say, "We believe in God, and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes; and in what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit." Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers." (3:84-85) … Is there a difference between these two contexts of Quranic verses? … Thank you …
Answer:
In the context of the verses 2:135-137, God warns, preaches, and urges the People of the Book, who assume themselves to be 'guided', so that they follow the monotheistic religion of Abraham which is based, of course, on the testimony of (There is no God but Allah). God commands them to believe in Him as the Only Lord and God without associating deified partners alongside with Him. Monotheism means to believe in all Scriptures of the Lord God and without making any distinctions among His prophets/messengers. This means that real monotheists never deify God's prophets/messengers (or any other mortals). To make a prophet/messenger distinguished from the rest of the others means to deify and sanctify him, and this polytheism contradicts the monotheistic testimony of (There is no God but Allah). By adhering to this testimony of monotheism, people adhere to the Path of the Lord God and they are not divided within disputes and schisms (i.e., regarding religion), which occur because of polytheism of deifying mortals (prophets and non-prophets). As for the context of the verses 3:84-85 which is a warning addressed to Quran-believing people, we infer from it that the Omniscient Lord God Who knows the future events tell us here that 'Muslims' will follow the footsteps of the polytheists among the People of the Book by deifying prophets/messengers of God. The Muhammadans, past and present, have deified Muhammad as an immortal god besides Allah and they have placed him above all the rest of God's prophets/messengers and sometimes above God Himself (see our book in English titled "Intercession between Islam and the Muhammadans", found on this link: http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=119). Of course, the verses 3:84-85 are addressed to Muhammad as he has been commanded to utter them as per the verb/expression (Say...) in 3:84, and 3:85 tackles real Islam (i.e., monotheism) which will be the only acceptable religion by God on the Last Day. Thus, those who have deified Muhammad (by assuming as if he were immortal and infallible and as if he issued religious legislations and by placing Muhammad's name forcibly within the testimony of Islam) and died as such are polytheists who will enter into Hell as they have made distinction among God's prophets/messengers. Hence, this applies to those polytheistic Muhammadans who add the phrase (Muhammad is the Messenger of God) to the real and only monotheistic testimony of Islam conveyed by all prophets/messengers: (There is no God but Allah).

Thank You, our Son
Published in May 16, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Thanks to you and your great Quranist writings, I have realized for the first time in my life the vast difference between the Quranic sharia legislations of the Dominant Lord God and the earthly, fabricated, devilish sharia laws of the clergymen of the Muhammadans; would the needy and the hungry wait for an annual zakat (a per the Sunnite erroneous notions) and suffer for the rest of the year?! The clergymen in my country are growing filthily rich; they are the followers/allies of Satan and they misguide others and hinder them from following God's Path: the Quran … I hope one day that you will make a video or write a lengthy article about the real meaning of Zakat in the Quran … Thank you …
Answer:
Thank You, our dear son; please read out book about Zakat; we have written many articles about zakat, alms, and money donations as part of charity, and we have ridiculed the Sunnite notion of paying zakat once a year only as the needy and the hungry cannot wait; there are also two videos about this within our Friday sermons, and we refer you to Episode No. 332 within our show "Quranic Moments" about feeding the needy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeRxXc6Gjcs). Fasting and Astronomical Calculations
Published in May 16, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Most Arab nations will begin fasting Ramadan on Thursday 17th of May, 2018, possibly for 29 lunar days as per the KSA and its clergymen who claim they have 'accurately' calculated the lunar fasting month of Ramadan and saw the crescent, and yet, I do not trust them; Ramadan is 30 days in other countries; I tend to think that such contradictions are done deliberately to serve some evil political purposes. I've begun fasting today (on my own without telling those around me) on Wednesday, 16th of May, 2018, as the real first day of Ramadan … What do you think? Happy Ramadan to you and to your family members and loved ones! … Thank you …
Answer:
Happy Ramadan to you, our dear son. We ourselves have begun our fasting of Ramadan today (on Wednesday, 16th of May, 2018), as we never rely on seeing the crescent in the sky with the naked eye; we trust astronomical calculations where we live in VA. We think that Ramadan is 30 days this year. We implore Almighty God to accept our fasting, prayers, and all our good deeds and acts of worship. We urge you to read our book about fasting. We beseech all of our dear fellow Quranists worldwide to implore and supplicate to God within their prayers during Ramadan for the sake of granting His aid to the weak ones and victims in Yemen, Syria, and the Gaza Strip, who are indeed victims of warmongers and those disbelieving criminals who make huge ill-gotten profits by wars and bloodshed and selling/trafficking of arms and weapons.

Contacting our Person and Other Quranists
Published in May 16, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I'd like to meet with some Quranists face to face; do Quranists of the IQC assemble regularly in meetings or gatherings anywhere? How can I contact you personally, Dr. Mansour? … Thank you …
Answer:
Quranists never get together within any meetings or gatherings in any location; they are a minority of thousands of persons scattered worldwide. Quranists do not have even a single mosque anywhere until now; they are too poor and too weak, and in some countries, they fear being imprisoned or severely persecuted if they declare their faith in public. Some of our fellow Quranists write their email addresses on their accounts on our website. As for us, you can contact us via email, the "messenger" of chatting, and our Facebook account.

You Are Welcome as a Reader Only
Published in May 17, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I agree with most of your religious views; yet, I do not like the fact that you do not allow writers within your website to write outside certain conditions and terms of use; I'd like to have an account as a writer on your website, but I desire to write about cultural and philosophical topics; I suggest you create a corner for (friends of Quranists) to allow them to write freely about topics unrelated to Quranism and politics while asserting (i.e., in a disclaimer) that they express only themselves as individuals and that their viewers do not necessarily reflect the views of IQC or Quranists in general … What do you think of my suggestion? … Thank you …
Answer:
We cannot accept you as a writer on our website;you are welcome as a reader only; you can write comments only if you have an account on our website. Our website is not an open space for any types of articles; it is a specialized website linked to religious and political reform of Muslims/Muhammadans. The Quranist writers must write their articles of pondering the Quran using a certain scientific methodology which we have explained in our books in English titled "How to Understand the Holy Quran" (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=121) and "The Quran: Sufficient as a Source of Islamic Legislation" (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=92) and in our two English articles about similar and definitive Quranic verses (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=16993/http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=16303). We allow free expression of political ideas of reform and political problems of the Arab world and the countries of the Muhammadans. The terms of use are not so many; in fact, they are two items only: (1) never to deny Quranic facts of Islam discovered and explained by our person and by Quranists (and never to deny acts of worship, etc.), and (2) never to quote the falsehoods/lies known as hadiths unless in order to refute them using logic, history, linguistic analysis, and the Quran, because hadiths are never part of Islam. Thus, those who violate the terms of use by quoting hadiths in a way that shows they believe in them or by denying Quranic facts of Islam will risk suspending their accounts and their articles will be removed from our website. Our website is not a space for balderdash, empty words, or nonsense. Those who wish to write freely about anything they like outside our fields of interests (i.e., Qurnaism, politics, reform, and history) can create blogs for themselves.

Noah Never Knew the Metaphysical Realm
Published in May 17, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Is not Noah supposed to be aware beforehand that his son was a disbeliever? Did Noah discovered this fact only when the flood/deluge took place and the son refused to join Noah's Ark? … I'm referring to these Quranic verses: "And so it sailed with them amidst waves like hills. And Noah called to his son, who had kept away, "O my son! Embark with us, and do not be with the disbelievers." He said, "I will take refuge on a mountain - it will protect me from the water." He said, "There is no protection from God's decree today, except for him on whom He has mercy." And the waves surged between them, and he was among the drowned." (11:42-43) … What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
We know from the Quran that Noah never knew the metaphysical realm of the unknown and the invisible; he was not a mind-reader who knew those who were real believers and those who disbelievers. God has rebuked Noah when he implored Him to forgive his drowned son: "And Noah called to his Lord. He said, "O My Lord, my son is of my family, and Your promise is true, and You are the Wisest of the wise." He said, "O Noah, he is not of your family. It is an unrighteous deed. So do not ask Me about something you know nothing about. I admonish you, lest you be one of the ignorant." He said, "O My Lord, I seek refuge with You, from asking You about what I have no knowledge of. Unless You forgive me, and have mercy on me, I will be one of the losers."" (11:45-47). Noah told his people he never knew the metaphysical realm of the future: ""I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of God, nor do I know the future..." (11:31). Muhammad told the same thing to his people, in a different tongue: "Say, "I do not say to you that I possess the treasuries of God, nor do I know the future, nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I only follow what is inspired to me." Say, "Are the blind and the seeing alike? Do you not think?"" (6:50). After the Quranic story of Noah, God has said the following to Muhammad: "These are some stories from the past that we reveal to you. Neither you, nor your people knew them before this. So be patient. The future belongs to the pious." (11:49).

Question: … Dear Sir, … I'm about to lose my mind because of Sunnite people around me and because of the silly Sunnite books I've studied! Your Quranist writings please my mind, soul, and heart; I feel happy that I've come across your great website; yet, I'm in bad need of talking to any Quranists face to face; are there Quranists whom you know in my country: Morocco? How can I contact them? … Thank you …
Answer:
You are very welcome to our website; you can spend hours reading our archive and the articles of other Quranists. Some of our fellow Quranists write their email addresses on their accounts on our website; this is your chance to write privately to any of them and you might meet one another in your country.
