Fatwas Part One-Hundred-and-Seven
Issued by: Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour, translated by: Ahmed Fathy
Putting to Death 1/3 of the Subjects of a Caliph!
Published in December 23, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … You mention repeatedly that Sunnites in the Middle-Ages had the fatwa (approved now by the Wahabi Salafists, ISIS, and MB terrorists) of allowing imams/caliphs/rulers or sultans to put to death 1/3 of the 'subjects' to reform the remaining two-thirds; I never found this fatwa in the books of fiqh of the Abbasid Era! Many of the scholars of Sunnite doctrines reject this fatwa now … How did you know about this strange fatwa, anyway?! … Thank you …
Answer:
This fatwa was acknowledged by the late head of Al-Azhar sheikh M. S. Tantawi who died in 2010 in Cairo, Egypt, and his approving of this fatwa is mentioned in Egyptian newspapers at the time. This popular fatwa emerged during the Mameluke Era in Egypt, as per the historian Ibn Hajar. Regardless of this fatwa, caliphs in most eras assumed to have the 'divine' right to put anyone to death as soon as they want, whimsically and without trial, and they gave this 'right' to their governors, military leaders, and policemen. Arab conquerors put thousands of people to death among the conquered nations during the reign of the sinful caliphs Abou Bakr, Omar, and Othman. The first Arab governor of Egypt, Amr Ibn Al-As, put to death many Copts who hid their treasures and money from him. Other governors killed thousands of innocent people in the Levant, Iraq, etc. The ruthless governor Al-Hajaj Ibn Youssef put to death hundreds of thousands of people to please the Umayyad caliphs; the Umayyad governor Khaled Al-Qasry put tens of thousands of men to death; the very first Abbasid caliph and his men put to death tens of thousands of men, women, and children in one city. We refer you to our book about bloodshed committed by caliphs of all eras.

The Worse and the Worst!
Published in December 23, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … In your opinion, what is the nearest earthly/terrestrial religion to the Celestial, Divine Religion of the Lord God? Which of these religions are the worse and which are the worst? … Thank you …
Answer:
None of them are near to the Lord God's Religion of monotheism. All of the earthly/terrestrial religions urge people to deify things/items and mortals and are based on devilish revelations/narratives of Satan which are never endorsed by the Lord God; they contradict His Celestial Religion. They share common features: polytheism, Taghut (i.e., tawatur/narratives of Satan), lies, falsehoods, and tyrannical priests or clergymen who oppress the masses and obsequiously obey rulers. As for the worse and the worst, there are earthly/terrestrial religions which urge their followers to be peaceful; e.g., Sufism, Coptic Orthodox Christianity, Hinduism, Baha'ism, and Buddhism. This, of course, may change to the exact opposite once a theocracy is established by followers of such religions. Thus, the peaceful followers of such religions are Muslims in terms of peaceful behavior. Sadly, there are earthly/terrestrial religions which combine polytheism and violence/aggression, such as the Sunnite religion applied by the sinful 4 pre-Umayyad caliphs and other caliphs after them. The atrocities and heinous crimes committed by the Arabs of the Middle-Ages needed to be 'justified' and deemed as 'legitimate' through notions and hadiths of the Sunnite religion. The followers of the Shiite religion tend to be peaceful (within Taqiyya! See our article: http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=17632) and they turn violent/aggressive once they reach power and establish their theocracy (e.g., in today's Iran of the Twelver Shiite sect + the Ismaili Fatimids in Egypt in the Middle-Ages) and when they gain a measure of control (e.g., the terrorists of Houthis in Yemen and of the Hezbollah in Lebanon).

Greeting Mosques upon Entering Them!
Published in December 24, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … What is your Quranist view regarding the Sunnite habit of performing a two-Raqa prayer upon entering the mosques as a way of greeting them as holy houses of worship that belong to the Lord God? … Thank you …
Answer:
We have written before about the fact that Quranists must avoid entering into the harmful mosques of the polytheistic Muhammadans; their mosques are never dedicated to the Lord God; the prayer you ask about is NEVER part of Islam but part of the so-called Sunna of the Sunnites; these devilish prayers have nothing to do with Islam; rather, it is linked to polytheistic rituals of honoring and sanctifying pagan temples. Those who would like to perform extra prayers to gratify the Lord God are to do so as per the Quran without labeling them in any way and without following the footsteps of the polytheistic Muhammadans.

Solomon and the Hoopoe and the Ant
Published in December 24, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … The Quranic story of Solomon with an ant and a hoopoe is ridiculed and mocked by Quran-hating atheists and polytheists! What do you think?! … Thank you …
Answer:
We have covered this point in detail in our book, in English, titled "The West and the Miraculous Scientific Indications in the Holy Quran", found on this link: (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=151). It is part of the Quranic miraculous scientific indications that we find verses about flies, mosquitoes, ants, bees, and spiders. Human beings know little about the outer, physical world as their measure of knowledge is allowed only by the Divine Will and the Lord God's permission; yet, most human beings are arrogant disbelievers: "They know an outer aspect of the worldly life, but they are heedless of the Hereafter." (30:7); "...and they cannot grasp any of His knowledge, except as He wills..." (2:255); "Have they not journeyed through the land, and seen the outcome for those before them? They were more numerous than they, and had greater power and influence in the land. But what they had achieved availed them nothing. When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they rejoiced in the knowledge they had, and the very things they used to ridicule besieged them." (40:82-83). Human beings do NOT know all about creatures of the Lord God: "Praising Him are the seven heavens, and the earth, and everyone in them. There is not a thing that does not glorify Him with praise, but you do not understand their praises..." (17:44). Scientists of today study how animals, insects, birds, etc. communicate: "There is no animal on land, nor a bird flying with its wings, but are communities like you..." (6:38). The Lord God has granted Solomon the gift of knowing the languages of some creatures: "And Solomon succeeded David. He said, "O people, we were taught the language of birds...Until, when they came upon the Valley of Ants, an ant said, "O ants! Go into your nests, lest Solomon and his troops crush you without noticing." He smiled and laughed at her words...Then he inspected the birds, and said, "Why do I not see the hoopoe?...I have learnt something you did not know. I have come to you from Sheba, with reliable information." (27:16-22).

The Progeny of Noah
Published in December 25, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Since Noah's son was drowned in the deluge/flood as per the Quran, how come that Noah's progeny survived? Had Noah other sons or not? Any ideas? … Thank you …
Answer:
We infer from the following verses that Noah had other progeny of sons, daughters, and grandchildren who were in the Arc with him: "And We made his descendants the survivors. And We left mention of him among those who succeeded. Peace be upon Noah among all people." (37:77-79). They married other survivors and their descendants filled the earth; thousands of years later, the Israelites were born: "And We gave Moses the Scripture, and made it a guide for the Israelites: Take none for protector other than Me. The descendants of those We carried with Noah. He was a thankful servant." (17:2-3). Abraham was among the progeny of Noah; Abraham was born thousands of years after the death of Noah; Abraham was the father of many messengers and prophets; there are messengers and prophets outside the descendants of Abraham as well: "...There is no community but a warner has passed through it." (35:24); "And We gave him Isaac and Jacob-each of them We guided. And We guided Noah previously; and from his descendants David, and Solomon, and Job, and Joseph, and Moses, and Aaron. Thus We reward the righteous. And Zachariah, and John, and Jesus, and Elias - every one of them was of the upright. And Ishmael, and Elijah, and Jonah, and Lot - We favored each one of them over all other people. And of their ancestors, and their descendants, and their siblings - We chose them, and guided them to a straight path" (6:84-87); "We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and the Scripture. Some of them are guided, but many of them are sinners." (57:26).

"Muslims" as Opposed to "Believers"
Published in December 25, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … A Quranist friend of mine heard my supplications to the Lord God so that He may forgive all ''Muslims''; he advised me to use the term''believers'' instead as it is more general and covers all monotheists in all eras as per the supplication of Noah: "My Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and anyone who enters my home in faith, and all the believing men and believing women; and do not increase the unjust ones except in perdition." (71:28) … What is your own view? … Thank you …
Answer:
The terms "Muslims" and "believers" are exact synonyms regarding Islam in terms of behavior (i.e., peaceful demeanor) or in terms of faith inside one's heart/soul. It is OK for you to use both terms or one of them within your supplications. Supplicating to the Lord God is a religious duty rewarded by Him; He answers the supplications in the ways He sees fit. One can judge overt behavior of others but not their faiths; those who deify mortals and items/things but are peaceful people must be treated by Quranists within justice and charity. The Lord God will settle religious disputes on the Last Day.

Tawatur within the Daily Prayers
Published in December 25, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I've watched your recent YouTube videos; I do not approve of your view that pilgrimage, prayers, etc. are inherited from the religion of Abraham within tawatur or succession/passing down from one generation to the other; distortions occurred and I quote these verses about Muhammad himself to prove this: "...You did not know what the Scripture is, nor what faith is..." (42:52); "And found you misguided, and guided you?" (93:7); thus, I infer that God taught him how to pray, etc. … If the Qorayish tribe had distorted prayers, what proofs have we that prayers we perform today are not distorted? … Thank you …
Answer:
Muhammad does not embody Islam (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=16369), and like any human beings, he had his own mistakes mentioned in some of the Quranic verses. Please read our book about the topic of prayers and our articles to get answers to all your questions.

The Sunnite Religion of Terrorism
Published in December 26, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I live in Iraq; Shiites there like myself suffer persecution and discrimination (and thousands of the Shiites were killed) because of Sunnite fatwas declaring Shiites as 'infidels' who deserve to be killed … This is not part of True Islam, right? As a great Muslim thinker, what is your own view of the grave injustices inflicted on Shiite Iraqis? … Thank you …
Answer:
There are peaceful earthly/terrestrial religions such as Sufism and (Coptic) Christianity; there are earthly/terrestrial religions which urge violence and terrorism such as the Sunnite religion; its notions include to allow murdering and fighting peaceful, innocent non-Sunnites until they convert to their silly Sunnite religion with its devilish hadiths; Sunnites tend to forget that Muhammad was sent by the Lord God with the Quran as a mercy to the humankind and not to terrorize the humankind. You are welcome to our website to learn more about True Islam. We are, of course, against all types of persecution and injustices inflicted on peaceful, innocent people everywhere, regardless of their religious affiliation or lack thereof.

About Dr. Farag Fouda
Published in December 26, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I come from a Shiite background; having read the books of the late Egyptian thinker Dr. Farag Fouda, I have to admit I admire them very much; I hate Shiite hadiths and fiqh notions and I know they have nothing to do with Islam; similarly, I dislike the Sunnite hadiths and fiqh notions. My mind never accepts myths about the so-called intercession and the so-called infallibility of 'imams'. What was your relation with Dr. Fouda? Quranists in my country advised me to read your books and articles to get to know about Quranism as the True Islam I've been looking for; I shall read your entire archive … Thank you in advance …
Answer:
The books of this great thinker who was our dear friend (who was assassinated by Sunnite Wahabi terrorists in 1992 in Cairo, Egypt) shocked the Egyptian society at the time; he used to attack Wahabis and other extremists from a secular point of view; we convinced him to attack them within a historical point of view and through the use of Quranic verses; we provided him with ample material and books, especially about the cursed 4 pre-Umayyad caliphs who are the enemies of the Quran. The polytheistic faith tenets of Shiites, Sufis, and Sunnites contradict the Quran; we encourage you to begin reading our archive within our Quranism website to get to know about real monotheism.

'Honor' Killings!
Published in December 26, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Many Sunnites/Wahabis in European countries kill their daughters and/or wives if they fornicated or about to fornicate by dating European men; does Islam include the so-called honor killings or not? … Thank you …
Answer:
True Islam has nothing to do with the so-called 'honor' killings which are heinous crimes of murder. Sunnites murder adulterous women and never murder adulterous men. Such patriarchal, backward notions are part of the culture of slaves who assume that women are possessions, playthings, or items owned by men. Honor is not about vaginas or sex organs; it is all about dignity, courage, freedom, generosity, and defending the wronged parties. In real Islam, putting persons to death is only within one case: retribution against murderers; even this penalty can be avoided when the family members of the victim accept the diyya money from the murderer.

Inheritance Left by my Late Brother
Published in December 27, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Before his death, my brother used to quarrel for years with his wife, and he often kept his clothes and important papers in my house (I'm his sister) and I gave him a room in my house to spend the night when he left his house several times; his wife in her fits of fury typically tore his clothes and his papers; she never cared for him when he was hospitalized; he died weeks ago and he left his wife and two sons … My question is as follows: I discovered a large bag of expensive clothes under the bed of the room where my brother slept in my house; it contains new clothes of his wife and some of his own clothes; shall I donate such clothes for charity or not? Shall I give them back to the wife he hated or not? What is your own view? … Thank you …
Answer:
Donating them for charity is a false Sunnite view; your late brother will never benefit from any charity after his death as his Book of Deeds is closed forever once the angels of death informed him of his fate in the Hereafter. You have no right to give away within charity what does not belong to you; this bag of clothes belongs to the wife and two sons who are the inheritors of your brother; you must return it to them at once.

Marriage in a Church
Published in December 27, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … I live in the USA with my son; he wants to marry an American young woman; she insists on getting married inside a church; I've refused this; in fact, I told my son that I never look at this match favorably; I disapprove of his marrying a Christian woman; I'm afraid that one day, my son's children (if he would have any) may be Christians like their Mom who will insist on making them go to church with her! … What is your own view of this? Is it legal and permissible in Islam that a Muslim man (i.e., my son) would marry a Christian woman inside a church?! … Thank you …
Answer:
We have written many times before that marriage of Muslim men/women to non-Muslims is OK within Quranism (i.e., True Islam); it is OK if your son gets married inside a church; please do not oppose his marriage; he has the right to choose how he will be happy; since he and his fiancée will marry inside a church within mutual consent and respect, you do not have the right to protest. Marriage contracts, in Islam, are legal when husbands pay dowry to the wives and make witnesses sign the contracts. As for children, they are to be taught morals and higher values; they will choose their religion (or even atheism) when they grow up; guidance is the personal responsibility of each individual; guidance is provided by the Lord God only for those who ardently seek it: "You cannot guide whom you love, but God guides those willing to be guided, and He knows best those who are guided." (28:56).

Marginal Religion?!
Published in December 27, 2018
Question: … I live in Egypt, and I'm shocked by many of your articles; peaceful Quran-deniers (e.g., Copts and atheists) are 'Muslims' as per your own strange definitions, whereas Quran-believing aggressors are not Muslims! You assume that people are free to (dis)believe and to (dis)obey; you have made religion play a marginal role (or no role at all) in one's life! You and Quranists never enter into mosques and never perform the Friday congregational prayers! Shivers ran through my spine as you refute the infallibility of the messengers and prophets of the Lord God; it is very insulting to label Muslims as 'Muhammadans'; this term is used only by European historians and orientalists of the past! …
Answer:
Your adherence to your Sunnite religion of Satan has made you forget several Quranic facts, including that the vast majority of human beings in all eras are misguided and misguiding, whereas a minority are pious monotheistic believers. You forgot that absolute religious freedom is one of the tenets of Islam in the Quran; you forget that God will never forgive those polytheists who deify prophets/messengers and other mortals and died without repentance. You forget that there are no clergymen in Islam; we cannot add to the Quranic list of prohibited items. The clergymen of the earthly/terrestrial religions who obsequiously serve rulers make their religions seem vague and mysterious to make sure they earn more money and keep their posts; when they control society, they introduce backwardness, obscurantism, injustices, and tyranny. You should ponder on how the countries around Egypt (i.e., Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria) are devastated because of this reason, among other reasons and factors. These clergymen of Satan make people submissive; they insult the Lord God by ascribing lies/falsehoods/hadiths to His Religion. Polytheists make religion marginal in their lives; they mainly worship Mammon (i.e., money) and rarely perform acts of charity. Real monotheism within Quranism makes the guided ones charitable and kind and play active roles in their societies (e.g., they preach virtue among those around them and advise them against committing sin and vices); their faith is never marginal in their lives.

Please Read our Archive First!
Published in December 28, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … About a month ago, I came across your great YouTube channel and I admire your videos very much; I'm still watching them; yet, I dislike your sarcastic tone and your cursing certain historical figures. The Lord God has told us not to insult deities/gods of polytheists: "Do not insult those they call upon besides God, lest they insult God out of hostility and ignorance..." (6:108). I have not browsed within your website until now; I have some questions that I'd like to be permitted to put to you: .....,.......,......,......,.....,...... … Thank you …
Answer:
We welcome all newcomers to our website; you have to read our entire archive before posing repeated questions; answers to your questions are also found within our previous fatwas. We have written many times that novices are shocked by our views at first because they still deify certain mortals; you must get rid of the deification of prophets, imams, and companions; the deity/god Muhammad they have fashioned has nothing to do with the mortal Prophet Muhammad mentioned in the Quran. We insult and mock deified imams and companions to shock their worshipers and raise their awareness concerning true monotheism; we quote their history (including heinous crimes and atrocities they committed and the false religious notions they propagated) from authorized books.

To Pray inside a Church
Published in December 28, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Is it OK to perform any of the five daily prayers inside any church? What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
Of course, this is OK. In the 1990s, we attended a forum inside a church in Cairo, Egypt. Fearing that we might miss the sunset prayers, we performed the prayers inside the same church after the end of the forum. The Coptic people there provided me with a rug and a place to pray; they were prepared for such occasions, as in many cases, Muslim guests inside the church ask for a place to pray. It is OK that you pray inside a church but away from the altar and the locations where rituals are performed.

About Pilgrimage
Published in December 28, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Is it OK that I perform hajj/pilgrimage using the money offered to me for that purpose by one relative of mine? This relative knows I'm impecunious and over 60 years old and wish ardently to perform pilgrimage. What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
This is OK, of course. The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "...Pilgrimage to the House is a duty to God for all who can make the journey..." (3:97). Since you can afford it with the money offered/donated to you by your generous, charitable relative, you can perform Hajj, provided that the money of your relative is NOT ill-gotten money.

Stock Markets, Again!
Published in December 29, 2018
Question: … Dear Sir, … Is it permissible/legal (or not) in Islam that one would work in stock markets and invest money through them? … What is your own opinion? … Thank you …
Answer:
This is permissible/legal, of course. This is a process of purchase and selling within mutual consent and within laws agreed on by all parties involved. In case corruption and fraud (or other crimes) are committed within stock markets, the sin falls only on the corrupters/thieves themselves, as the case with all types of trade and investment.
