Quranic Terminology: Sadeeq & Siddeeq

Firstly: the Quranic term (Sadeeq) means a close friend in this world:

1- One can consume food made by a friend and a friend can consume one's food: "There is no blame on the blind, nor any blame on the lame, nor any blame on the sick, nor on yourselves for eating at your homes, or your fathers’ homes, or your mothers’ homes, or your brothers’ homes, or your sisters’ homes, or the homes of your paternal uncles, or the homes of your paternal aunts, or the homes of your maternal uncles, or the homes of your maternal aunts, or those whose keys you own, or the homes of your friends..." (24:61).

2- Friendship in this world among disbelievers/sinners end in the Hereafter, on the Resurrection Day and also inside Hell, and it will turn into enmity; i.e., the Hell dwellers will become enemies of one another: "On that Day, friends will be enemies of one another, except for the pious ones." (43:67); "On that Day, the unjust one will bite his hands, and say, “If only I had followed the way with the Messenger. Oh, woe to me; I wish I never took so-and-so for a friend. He led me away from the Reminder after it had come to me..." (25:27-29); "Now we have no intercessors. And no close friend." (26:100-101); "And warn them of the Day of Imminence, when the hearts are at the throats, choking them. The unjust ones will have no close friend, and no intercessor to be obeyed." (40:18); "So he has no friend here today." (69:35); "No friend will care about his friend." (70:10); "...“You have chosen idols instead of God, out of affection for one another in the worldly life. But then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will disown one another, and curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, and you will have no saviors.”" (29:25).

3- In contrast, the Paradise dwellers who were foes/enemies in this transient world will be friends who love one another: "We will remove whatever rancor is in their hearts. Rivers will flow beneath them..." (7:43); "And We will remove all ill-feelings from their souls - brethren, on couches facing one another." (15:47).

Secondly: the Quranic term (Siddeeq) or "truthful" refers to truthfulness in relation to both good deeds and sincere, monotheistic faith:

 Of course, the Lord God says nothing but the Absolute Truth in the Holy Quran; let us exemplify this in the points below.

1- The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "Say, “God has spoken the Truth..." (3:95). The Muhammadans often repeat by their mouths only and not their hearts the phrase (the Lord God says nothing but the Truth); their souls/hearts never believe in this fact; Proof: when Quranists quote  to them Quranic verses which refute their hadiths and their deification of tombs and mortals, they show aversion towards the Quranic facts and this indicates their real stance; i.e., they reject the Holy Quran and prefer their lies/fabrications known as fiqh and hadiths.

2- The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "...and who is more truthful in speech than God?" (4:122); "...And who speaks more truly than God?" (4:87); in contrast, the authors/imams of the Muhammadans (e.g., cursed Al-Bokhary) have made their devilish fabrications/hadiths appear more truthful than the Lord God's Word; i.e., the Quran, and made them replace/supplant the Quranic verses.

3- The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "The Word of your Lord has been completed, in Truth and justice. There is no changing to His words. He is the Hearer, the Knower." (6:115). The deified authors/imams of the Muhammadans have rejected the fact that the Holy Quran, the Lord God's Word, is perfect and complete and assumed that their devilish narratives/lies/hadiths supplant/replace the Quranic Verses and change the sharia legislations in them!

 Of course, all predictions mentioned by the Omniscient Lord God in the Holy Quran have taken place truthfully and will take place in truth in this world and the next one.

 Examples of the divine predictions, in truth, that occurred in this world:

1- The vision of Muhammad: "God has fulfilled His messenger’s vision in truth: “You will enter the Sacred Mosque, God willing, in security, heads shaven, or hair cut short, not fearing..." (48:27).

2- The vision of Joseph: "And he elevated his parents on the throne, and they fell prostrate before him. He said, “Father, this is the fulfillment of my vision of long ago. My Lord has made it come true..." (12:100).

3- The promise made by the Lord God to the mother of Moses: "Thus We returned him to his mother, that she may be comforted, and not grieve, and know that God’s promise is true. But most of them do not know." (28:13).

Examples of the divine predictions, in truth, that will inevitably take place in the Hereafter:

 The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "The righteous ones will be amidst gardens and rivers. In an assembly of truth, in the presence of an Omnipotent King." (54:54-55); "And those who feared their Lord will be led to Paradise in throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you, you have been good, so enter it, to abide therein eternally.” And they will say, “Praise be to God, who has fulfilled His promise to us, in truth, and made us inherit the land, enjoying Paradise as we please.” How excellent is the reward of the workers." (39:73-74); "Those are they from whom We accept the best of their deeds, and We overlook their misdeeds, among the dwellers of Paradise - the promise of truth which they are promised." (46:16); "The Trumpet will be blown, then behold, they will rush from the tombs to their Lord. They will say, “Woe to us! Who resurrected us from our resting-place?” This is what the Dominant Lord had promised, and the messengers have spoken the truth.”" (36:51-52).

 The Holy Quran has descended (has been revealed) while confirming (and fulfilling the predictions of) the previous Celestial Scriptures in truth:

 The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it..." (3:3); "And We revealed to you the Book, with truth, confirming the Scripture that preceded it, and superseding it..." (5:48); "This too is a Scripture that We revealed - blessed - verifying in Truth what preceded it..." (6:92); "What We inspired in you, of the Book, is the truth, confirming what preceded it..." (35:31); "...And this is a confirming Book, in Truth, in the Arabic tongue..." (46:12); "And believe in what I revealed, confirming in truth what is with you; and do not be the first to deny it..." (2:41); "O you who were given the Book! Believe in what We sent down, confirming in truth what you have..." (4:47).  

 The messengers/prophets of the Lord God believed in all previous Celestial, Divine Scriptures:

1- This is about Jesus: "In their footsteps, We sent Jesus son of Mary, fulfilling in truth the Torah that preceded him; and We gave him the Gospel, wherein is guidance and light, and confirming in truth the Torah that preceded him, and guidance and counsel for the righteous." (5:46); "“And verifying in truth what preceded me of the Torah..." (3:50); "And when Jesus son of Mary said, “O Israelites, I am God’s messenger to you, confirming in truth what preceded me of the Torah, and announcing good news of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmed.”..." (61:6).

2- This is about John when his father, Zachariah, was brought glad tidings of his birth: "...God gives you good news of John; confirming in truth a Word from God..." (3:39).

3- This is about Muhammad: "In fact, he came with the truth, and he confirmed in truth the messengers." (37:37).

 The truthfulness within one's good deeds is based on the truthfulness and sincerity of one's monotheistic faith:

 Of course, faith/belief is not merely a raised banner or a slogan/motto; true faith is the one driving the person to perform many good deeds; hence, the Siddeeq (or the truthful one) is the monotheistic, pious believer whose good deeds confirms in truth his/her believing in the Lord God's Book/Word; i.e., the Quran itself. This is why the phrase (if you are believers) is repeated in the Quranic text.

1- Abraham exemplifies the good deeds linked to the true, sincere faith/belief; the Lord God says the following about him in the Holy Quran.

1/1: Abraham was a Siddeeq (truthful one/person) even before his becoming a messenger/prophet: "And mention in the Scripture Abraham. He was a man of truth/Siddeeq, a prophet." (19:41); in contrast, in his book of hadiths/lies, the cursed Persian author Al-Bokhary accuses Abraham of being untruthful and that he told three lies in his life!

1/2: Because of his being a Siddeeq (a man of truth/ a truthful one), Abraham the pious monotheist succeeded in passing all tests preordained by the Lord God on him: "And of Abraham, who fulfilled." (53:37); "And when his Lord tested Abraham with certain words, and he fulfilled them..." (2:124).

1/3: The hardest test was when Abraham saw in a vision that he was slaughtering/sacrificing his only son at the time Ishmael (i.e., before the birth of Isaac); Abraham also succeeded in passing this hard test: "Then, when he was old enough to accompany him, he said, “O My son, I see in a dream that I am sacrificing you; see what you think.” He said, “O my Father, do as you are commanded; you will find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.”...You have fulfilled the vision in truth.” Thus We reward the doers of good. This was certainly an evident test. And We redeemed him with a great sacrifice. And We left with him for later generations. Peace be upon Abraham. Thus We reward the doers of good. He was one of Our believing servants." (37:102-111).

2- The Quranic term (Siddeeq) is employed in the Quran to describe the prophets Idris and Joseph: "And mention in the Scripture Idris. He was a man of truth/Siddeeq, a prophet" (19:56); "“Joseph, O man of truth/Siddeeq, inform us concerning seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones..." (12:46).

3- The feminine term (Siddeeqa); i.e., literally, a woman of truth or the truthful woman, is employed in the Quran to describe Mary the mother of Jesus: "The Messiah son of Mary was only a messenger, before whom other messengers had passed away, and his mother was a woman of truth/Siddeeqa. They both used to eat food..." (5:75); "And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her womb, and so We breathed into her of Our Spirit; and she believed in the Truth of her Lord’s Words and His Books, and was one of the devout." (66:12).

4- The truthful ones will be among the Paradise dwellers alongside with prophets and messengers of the Lord God: "Those who believe in God and His messengers - these are the truthful ones and the witnesses with their Lord; they will have their reward and their Light..." (57:19); "Whoever obeys God and the Messenger - these are with those whom God has blessed -among the prophets, and the truthful ones, and the martyrs, and the upright. Excellent are those as companions." (4:69).

 What are we to do if we desire to become among the truthful ones who will enter into Paradise?

1- The answer to this question is provide by the Lord God here: "Righteousness does not consist of turning your faces towards the East and the West. But righteous is he who believes in God, and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Scripture, and the prophets. Who gives money, though dear, to near relatives, and orphans, and the needy, and the homeless, and the beggars, and for the freeing of slaves; those who perform prayers and Zakat, and fulfill their promise when they promise, and patiently persevere in the face of persecution, hardship, and in the time of conflict. These are the sincere; these are the pious ones." (2:177). This means that the answer is sincere/truthful and monotheistic faith plus performing many good deeds, without hypocrisy and raising empty mottos/banners, since this is true piety and true righteousness.

2- Passing the tests of life (adversities) preordained by the Lord God since our fortitude and faith is tested by such preordained fates; in such times of hardships, one's faith is either confirmed to be truthful, deep, and sincere or turned out to be weak and superficial. This is why those who have little, shaken, false faith flunk the tests and become losers in this world and the next one: "And among the people is he who worships God on edge. When something good comes his way, he is content with it. But when an ordeal strikes him, he makes a turnaround. He loses this world and the next. That is the obvious loss." (22:11); "Have the people supposed that they will be left alone to say, “We believe,” without being put to the test? We have tested those before them. God will surely know the truthful, and He will surely know the liars." (29:2-3); "Among the people is he who says, “We have believed in God.” Yet when he is harmed on God’s account, he equates the people's persecution with God’s torment. And if help comes from your Lord, he says, “We were actually with you.” Is not God aware of what is inside the hearts of the people? God certainly knows those who believe, and He certainly knows the hypocrites." (29:10-11).

3- The contrast between the pious ones with truthful, deep, and sincere faith and those with weak, little faith is exemplified within the Quranic verses about the battle of the confederates: "When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is sickness said, “God and His Messenger promised us nothing but illusion.” And when a group of them said, “O people of Yathreb, you cannot make a stand, so retreat.” And a faction of them asked the Prophet to excuse them, saying, “Our homes are exposed,” although they were not exposed. They only wanted to flee. Had it been invaded from its sides, and they were asked to dissent, they would have done so with little hesitation. Although they had made a pledged to God, in the past, that they will not turn their backs. A pledge to God is a responsibility." (33:12-15); "And when the believers saw the confederates, they said, “This is what God and His Messenger have promised us; and God and His messenger have told the truth.” And it only increased them in faith and submission. Of the believers are men who are true to what they pledged to God. Some of them have fulfilled their vows; and some are still waiting, and never wavering. That God may reward the truthful ones for their truthfulness; and punish the hypocrites, if He wills, or pardon them. God is Forgiving and Merciful." (33:22-24); "Among them are those who promised God: “If He gives us of His bounty, we will donate and be among the good ones.” But when He has given them of His bounty, they became stingy with it, and turned away in aversion. So He penalized them with hypocrisy in their hearts, until the Day they face Him - because they broke their promise to God, and because they used to lie." (9:75-78); "Those who believe say, “If only a chapter is sent down.” Yet when a decisive chapter is sent down, and fighting is mentioned in it, you see those in whose hearts is sickness looking at you with the look of someone fainting at death. So woe to them! Obedience and upright speech. Then, when the matter is settled, being true to God would have been better for them." (47:20-21).

The Best Discourse:

 This is about the losers in the Hereafter on the Last Day: "As for him who gives and is righteous. And confirms goodness. We will ease his way towards ease. But as for him who is stingy and complacent. And denies goodness. We will ease his way towards difficulty. And his money will not avail him when he plummets." (92:5-11). As always, the Lord God says nothing but the Absolute Truth even if it is hated so much by the polytheistic Muhammadans!
