Author Introduction

This book, God! Why?, is not a question to God, but a message to those who live without Him. It is a call to reflect on the emptiness of life without the Real God, and an invitation to discover the happiness, strength, peace, and meaning that only He provides.

I am not a professional religious man. Rather, I am a religious professional man. My journey has been shaped not by the walls of religious institutions, but by life itself — by study, struggle, and the search for truth.

My academic path began with a Bachelor of Science in Botany, where I studied biology, physiology, physics, meteorology, entomology, and other sciences. This gave me first-hand knowledge of the complexity of life, the balance of ecosystems, and the fascinating variety of creatures that roam the earth. The natural world itself was my classroom, and every cell, insect, and storm became a lesson pointing to a higher power.

Later, I pursued a Master’s in Business Management, where I studied human behavior, management functions, communication, statistics, and the systems that govern human societies. This gave me insight into how people lead, follow, build, and sometimes destroy — and how deeply human life longs for guidance, fairness, and higher purpose.

Professionally, I have been self-employed most of my life, walking through the thick and thin of business, family responsibilities, and the everyday struggles of survival. Much of it was difficult, full of setbacks and tests. Without the grace of God, I would not have endured or made it this far.

I write this book not as a scholar speaking from books, but as a man who has lived life in all its hardship and mercy. What I share here is the fruit of my own reflection, experience, and conviction: that life without God collapses into chaos, and life with Him becomes meaningful, resilient, and whole.

Dedication

To my dear friend, big brother, and teacher,
Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour,

On the occasion of our twenty-year friendship anniversary.

Your courage, integrity, and commitment to truth have been a guiding light in my journey. You showed me that standing for what is right often comes at a heavy cost, yet it is the only path worth walking.

As a thinker, reformer, and pioneer of free thought, you have influenced not only the world of ideas but also the lives of those close to you. As a friend and mentor, you have touched my own life with wisdom, encouragement, and brotherhood.

This book is dedicated to you with love, gratitude, and respect — as a humble tribute to the inspiration and companionship you have given me throughout these two decades.

Chapter 1 – God! Why?

Every human being worships a god.

This may sound strange to the one who calls himself an atheist, skeptic, or agnostic. But look closely — worship is not always performed with rituals, prayers, or temples. Worship is devotion. It is what you live for, what you sacrifice for, what you fear losing, and what you put at the center of your life.

For some people, their god is a statue or idol. For others, it is a religion, a prophet, or a saint. For some, it is an ideology, a nation, a leader, or a flag. For many in the modern world, it is money, fame, sex, power, or even themselves.

The truth is simple: everyone serves something.

Named Gods and Religions

Human history is full of “gods” — thousands of them, each worshiped by different people. Some examples:

  • The gods of ancient Egypt: Ra (the sun), Osiris (the afterlife), Isis (fertility).
  • The gods of Greece and Rome: Zeus, Apollo, Venus, Jupiter, Mars.
  • The Hindu pantheon: Vishnu, Shiva, Krishna, Ganesha.
  • The gods of indigenous peoples across Africa, the Americas, and Asia.
  • Modern religions: Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and many others, each with their own understanding of the divine.

Human beings have always searched for power beyond themselves — and have always created gods to fill that void.

Unrecognized Gods

But there are also “gods” that are not called gods — yet they dominate human lives just as strongly:

  • Satan — the deceiver, leading people through rebellion.
  • Nations and Ideologies — when flags, governments, or movements become sacred.
  • Personalities — when leaders, celebrities, or influencers are adored beyond reason.
  • Wealth — the mighty dollar, gold, possessions.
  • Vanity and Lust — the obsession with beauty, desire, and pleasure.
  • Sex — when physical indulgence becomes the ultimate pursuit.
  • Power and Influence — when controlling others becomes the highest goal.
  • Fame — the hunger to be seen, remembered, and admired.
  • Family or Children — even natural loves can take the throne in place of God.

The list goes on. Anything that takes the place of the Real God in your heart becomes your god — whether you call it “god” or not.

The Illusion of Control

And no matter if you are rich or poor, powerful or weak, healthy or sick — you are always weak in front of life. Nobody, no matter who they are, has full control over life’s events or over other people.

Everything has an uncontrollable end:

  • Today you have a good job, but tomorrow you may be unemployed.
  • Today you are healthy, but tomorrow you may be seriously ill.
  • Today you drive a brand-new car, but tomorrow it may be stolen or crashed.

The list goes on. We can make decisions, but not always can we execute them.

No wonder why every day we hear of famous, fortunate people taking their own lives — surrounded by luxury, yet crushed by the emptiness they felt when they were alone.

And even if someone had everything, felt on top of the world, and lived in unimaginable wealth — all it takes is a single heartbeat to stop. They can buy mansions, cars, and yachts, but they cannot buy immortality.

Why Recognizing Your God Matters

It is not enough to say, “I don’t believe in God.” Everyone believes in something. Everyone serves something.

The real question is: what god are you worshiping?

  • If it is money, money will abandon you when you are sick or dead.
  • If it is power, someone stronger will eventually rise.
  • If it is fame, people’s memory will fade.
  • If it is desire, it will burn you out and leave you empty.
  • If it is family, they cannot save you from death.

Only the Real God — the One beyond creation, eternal and unchanging — can give life true meaning.

Reflection

So, God! Why? Because whether you admit it or not, you already have a god. The question is not whether you worship, but what you worship.

To live blindly, serving false gods without realizing it, is the greatest danger. To recognize the Real God, and to examine your relationship with Him, is the beginning of freedom.

Chapter 2 – God! Which?

If every human being worships something — knowingly or unknowingly — the next question becomes: which god is the right one?

History is filled with gods, religions, and philosophies. Each one claims truth. Each one offers answers. Yet they cannot all be equal.

The challenge is not whether to worship, but whom to worship.

The Confusion of Many Gods

Travel the world and you will find astonishing variety in what people call divine.

  • In ancient Egypt, people prayed to Ra, Osiris, and Isis.
  • In ancient Greece, Zeus ruled the heavens, Poseidon the seas, Hades the underworld.
  • In India, the Hindu pantheon includes Vishnu, Shiva, Krishna, Ganesha, and countless others.
  • In Japan, the Shinto faith finds gods in rivers, mountains, trees, and spirits.
  • Across the indigenous tribes of the Americas and Africa, deities of rain, harvest, and ancestors are revered.
  • In modern religions, billions follow Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Islam, or other systems.

Each generation creates its own sacred figures, stories, and systems. Humanity is hungry for the divine, but also deeply divided about who God really is.

The Man-Made Appeal of False Gods

Why do people turn to gods of their own making?

  • Tradition: They follow the path of their ancestors.
  • Fear: They seek protection from storms, death, or the unknown.
  • Control: Rulers use gods to control populations.
  • Comfort: Rituals and myths give people security.
  • Desire: A god shaped in our own image excuses our weaknesses.

Even today, though statues may be fewer, invisible idols remain — money, careers, celebrities, ideologies.

The Failure of False Gods

But false gods, no matter how appealing, ultimately fail.

  • Can a statue feed you?
  • Can money stop death?
  • Can fame heal loneliness?
  • Can power defeat time?

False gods collapse under the weight of human need. They cannot answer prayers. They cannot save from death. They cannot give life meaning beyond the grave.

The Real God

Against this confusion, the truth of the Real God stands clear:

  • He is One — not many.
  • He is Eternal — not bound by time or decay.
  • He is Independent — needing nothing, while all creation depends on Him.
  • He is Unique — beyond comparison to anything we know.

The Real God is not the invention of human imagination, but the source of human existence. He is not shaped by culture, time, or power. He does not rise and fall like kings. He does not change like trends. He simply is — unchanging, ever-present, absolute.

Reflection

So, God! Which?

Not the gods of stone, tradition, or imagination. Not the gods of wealth, fame, or ideology.

Only the Real God — eternal, unchanging, above all creation — can be worthy of worship.

The challenge for every human being is to clear away the noise of false gods, and recognize the One who is real.

Chapter 3 – God! Where?

If there is only one Real God, the next question arises: where is He?

Some imagine God as distant — sitting in the sky, detached from human struggles. Others imagine Him confined to temples, churches, or mosques, as though He lives only in man-made buildings. Some believe He is absent altogether, that the universe runs on its own without Him.

But the truth is far greater, deeper, and closer.

God Is Not Confined

God is not limited by space or time. He is not contained in walls or shrines. He is not in one place while absent from another. He is not a body that can be measured or restricted.

Wherever you go, whatever direction you face, God’s presence surrounds you.

God in Ourselves

The greatest signs of God are not far away in the heavens — they are within us.

The human body is a miracle of design.

  • The eye, with its millions of light-sensitive cells, can detect the faintest spark in the dark.
  • The heart, beating over 100,000 times a day, never rests.
  • The brain, with more connections than stars in the galaxy, thinks, remembers, imagines, and dreams.

We carry inside us proof of intelligence, order, and purpose. The breath in our lungs, the blood in our veins, the soul animating flesh — all testify to the Real God.

God in the Earth

Look at the earth around you. Seeds buried in darkness sprout into green life. Rivers carve valleys. Winds carry clouds across deserts. Rain falls in due measure, not too much to drown, not too little to starve.

The soil gives fruit. The balance of oxygen, sunlight, and water is tuned perfectly for life.

This harmony is not blind chance. It is the work of a Sustainer who provides for every creature, from the smallest insect to the tallest tree.

God in the Heavens

At night, look up. Stars scatter across the sky like jewels. Beyond them lie galaxies — billions of them, each with billions of suns, planets, and moons. They move in silent order, bound by laws that never fail.

What people call “laws of nature” are simply the power of God in action. Gravity, motion, energy — all operate with precision because they are held by Him.

The universe is not random chaos. It is order written by the hand of the Creator.

God Is Near

And yet, despite His vastness, God is not distant.

He is nearer than we realize — closer than our own breath. Every heartbeat, every tear, every thought is within His knowledge.

If you feel far from God, it is not because He has left. It is because your heart has turned away. Remove the veil of distraction, and you will find Him near.

Reflection

So, God! Where?

Not locked in temples. Not hidden in myths. Not absent from life.

He is in the design of your body. He is in the balance of the earth. He is in the order of the stars. And He is near — always near.

To ask where God is, is to open your eyes. Look within, look around, and you will see Him everywhere.

Chapter 4 – God! How?

Once we recognize that there is a Real God — and that He is near — the question naturally follows: how do we connect with Him?

Human beings long for connection. We want to be heard, loved, and guided. With other people, connection happens through words, touch, and presence. But how do we connect with the Creator of the universe, unseen and beyond human form?

The answer is simple yet profound: we speak to God, and we listen to God.

Speaking to God: Prayer and Supplication

Prayer is the most direct form of communication with God. No priest, no temple ritual, no fee. Just you and your Creator.

When you pray, you are not repeating empty motions — you are placing your heart before the One who knows you better than you know yourself.

But prayer is not limited to rituals. It can be as simple as whispering from the heart:

  • “Guide me.”
  • “Forgive me.”
  • “Bless me.”
  • “Protect me.”
  • “Accept from me.”
  • “Thank You.”

These are among the purest forms of prayer.

Even in silence, a tear, a sigh, or a deep breath can be a prayer if it is directed toward God.

Listening to God: His Words and His Signs

Just as we speak to God, He also speaks to us.

He speaks through the order of creation — through the earth, the stars, and the laws of nature that reflect His power. But He also speaks through words: through the messages He has sent across history to guide humanity.

Through revelation, God tells us who He is, what He wants from us, and how we should live. These words are not myths or legends — they are guidance, preserved for every generation.

When we read, reflect, and understand, we are listening to God Himself.

The Two-Way Relationship

Faith is not a one-sided act. It is a relationship:

  • We talk to God through prayer, supplication, gratitude, and confession.
  • God talks to us through His words, His guidance, and the signs written in creation.

Imagine a friendship where one person speaks but never listens, or only listens but never speaks. That friendship would be broken.

In the same way, a believer keeps balance: speaking honestly to God, and listening attentively to His guidance.

Practical Steps to Connect

  1. Begin with Honesty – Speak to God in your own words. Don’t wait for perfect language.
  2. Set Aside Time – Even a few minutes a day for reflection and prayer can reshape your heart.
  3. Observe the World – Look at nature, your body, and life events as reminders of God’s presence.
  4. Read and Reflect – Study His words not as distant scripture, but as a personal message to you.
  5. Trust His Response – Sometimes the answer comes quickly, sometimes slowly, and sometimes in a form we did not expect.

Reflection

So, God! How?

Not through complicated rituals. Not through intermediaries. Not through fear alone.

But through an honest heart that speaks and listens. Through prayer, through reflection, and through reading the words of guidance sent to humanity.

God is not silent. He is not distant. He is near, He listens, He responds.

The question is not whether God speaks — but whether we are listening.

Chapter 5 – God! When?

Your existence is a gift from God.

You have been chosen to exist — to think, to feel, and to act. In return, you are called to believe in your Creator and submit to Him in humility and appreciation.

You always seek His guidance, His acceptance, and His pleasure. You thank Him for His unlimited bounties. You love Him for His kindness. You fear Him and avoid His punishment.

God created you to be His successor on this earth, to reflect His holy attributes in action.

  • You build, create, and beautify.
  • You exert love, mercy, and compassion toward others.
  • You provide peace and safety to your fellow human beings.
  • You refrain from harming others or corrupting the world, physically or mentally.

You enjoy life within His limits. You marry, raise a family, and treat them with kindness. You give whatever you can to the needy, because this is your way of expressing gratitude for His blessings, and because it strengthens the bonds of compassion within your community between rich and poor.

This is the life you were meant to live. And the time to live it is now.

The Illusion of Later

One of the most dangerous deceptions is to say:
“I will turn to God later.”

We delay. We wait for old age, or for life to slow down, or for when we feel ready. We tell ourselves that once we’ve accomplished our personal goals, then we will think about God.

But tomorrow is never guaranteed.

God in Times of Crisis

Almost everyone remembers God when crisis strikes:

  • When illness comes, we pray.
  • When money disappears, we ask for help.
  • When danger surrounds us, we cry out for safety.

But once the crisis passes, many return to forgetfulness.

God does not want to be a stranger you call only in emergencies. He wants to be the center of your life — in good times and bad, in joy and in hardship.

The Fragility of Life

We act as though time belongs to us. But it doesn’t.

  • Today you are strong, tomorrow you may be weak.
  • Today you are alive, tomorrow you may be gone.
  • Today you are planning, tomorrow your plans may be dust.

Life is fragile. Death is certain.

Even the richest, most powerful people cannot escape it. They can buy mansions, cars, and yachts — but they cannot buy immortality.

The Urgency of Now

The right time to turn to God is not when everything else is done. It is not when life has worn you down. It is not when death is knocking at the door.

The right time is now.

Every day without God is a wasted day. Every step away from Him is a step toward emptiness.

Faith is not a burden to delay. It is the very purpose of your existence.

Reflection

So, God! When?

Not tomorrow. Not next year. Not when you retire. Not when you are old.

The answer is today. The answer is now.

Because life itself is God’s gift to you. And the way you live it is your gift back to Him.

Chapter 6 – God! What?

If your existence is a gift from God, and if life itself is your chance to return that gift with gratitude, then the question becomes: what does God really want from you?

Many imagine that God demands endless rituals, blind obedience, or harsh sacrifices. But God is not in need of us. He is free of all needs.

It is we who need Him. What He asks from us is not for His benefit, but for ours.

God Wants Recognition

The first and most essential thing God wants is for you to recognize Him — to see that your life, your breath, your talents, and your opportunities are not random accidents, but blessings.

When you recognize the source of your existence, you live differently. Gratitude replaces arrogance. Humility replaces pride. Dependence on the eternal replaces obsession with the temporary.

God Wants Justice

God commands fairness in everything we do. Justice is not an option; it is the foundation of faith.

He wants you to deal truthfully in business, honor your promises, treat others with dignity, and stand against oppression.

Without justice, even worship is empty. Prayer without fairness is hypocrisy. Fasting without compassion is just hunger.

God Wants Goodness

Faith is not only what you believe; it is how you live.

A true believer is known not by his words alone, but by his actions:

  • To feed the hungry.
  • To care for the weak.
  • To forgive those who wrong you.
  • To spread kindness wherever you go.

When you do good, you reflect the attributes of the One who created you — the Merciful, the Generous, the Loving.

God Wants Sincerity

What matters most is not the size of your actions, but the purity of your intentions.

A small deed done with a sincere heart is greater than a grand gesture done for show. God wants your worship to be genuine — a connection between you and Him, not a performance for people.

God Wants Gratitude

Every blessing you enjoy — health, family, food, knowledge, opportunity — is a gift. God wants you to be grateful.

Gratitude transforms the ordinary into worship. Eating becomes worship when you say, “Thank You.” Working becomes worship when you do it honestly. Even resting becomes worship when you see it as part of serving Him better tomorrow.

Worship as a Way of Life

So what does God want?

Not empty rituals. Not hollow traditions. Not lifeless routines.

He wants you to live your entire life as an act of worship:

  • When you speak truthfully — that is worship.
  • When you care for your parents — that is worship.
  • When you treat your spouse kindly — that is worship.
  • When you raise your children with love — that is worship.
  • When you share your wealth with the poor — that is worship.
  • When you avoid harming others or corrupting the world — that is worship.

True worship is not confined to temples, churches, or mosques. It is woven into every decision, every word, and every action.

Reflection

So, God! What?

He does not want rituals without meaning. He does not want words without sincerity. He does not want actions without justice.

He wants your heart, your gratitude, your goodness, and your integrity.

That is what the Real God asks of you. And that is the life you were created to live.

Chapter 7 – God! Why Not?

If life itself is a gift from God, if His signs are everywhere, if His blessings are countless, and if what He wants from us is justice, sincerity, and gratitude — then a pressing question remains:

Why would anyone reject Him?

This is not a new problem. From the beginning of history until today, people have turned away from God. The reasons are not lack of evidence — but barriers of the heart.

1. Blind Following of Tradition

Many people do not search, reflect, or question. They simply inherit their religion, culture, or worldview from their parents and ancestors.

They say: “This is how we found our forefathers, and we are content to follow.”

But blind loyalty to family or culture cannot excuse ignoring the truth. On the Day of Judgment, no father or mother will be able to defend you. Every soul is responsible for its own choices.

2. Pride and Arrogance

Some reject God because they are too proud to submit. They fear losing status, power, or control.

History is full of arrogant rulers who denied the truth, not because they didn’t see it, but because admitting it would humble them.

Arrogance blinds the heart. It makes people believe they are self-sufficient, when in reality they are fragile and dependent on God for every breath.

3. Love of Desire

For many, the barrier is not the mind but the appetite. They know that believing in God means setting limits on themselves — avoiding injustice, greed, lust, and corruption.

So instead, they worship their desires. Pleasure becomes their god.

But desires are a cruel master. They promise satisfaction, yet they leave emptiness. They consume without ever filling.

4. Distraction of the World

Others do not consciously reject God — they simply forget Him. Life’s routines, entertainment, and ambitions fill every space in their minds.

  • Careers become idols.
  • Wealth becomes the goal.
  • Comfort becomes the priority.

They don’t deny God outright, but they live as though He doesn’t exist.

5. Disappointment in Religion

Some turn away from God because they see hypocrisy, oppression, and violence committed in His name. They confuse the corruption of people with the reality of God.

They think: “If this is religion, I want nothing to do with it.”

But human failure does not erase divine truth. God is just and merciful even when people are not.

The Futility of Rejection

Rejecting God does not remove His reality. It only blinds the heart.

The one who denies God may live with pride, but death humbles all. The one who mocks faith may laugh today, but regret tomorrow. The one who trusts in wealth, fame, or power will see it vanish.

Rejection does not harm God. It harms only the one who rejects.

Reflection

So, God! Why Not?

The reasons are many: tradition, pride, desire, distraction, disappointment. But none of them erase the truth.

God is real. He is near. He is merciful. To reject Him is to choose emptiness over meaning, illusion over truth, and despair over hope.

The refusal to believe is not an intellectual victory — it is a personal loss.

Chapter 8 – God! Now!

We have asked the questions:

  • God! Why? — Why every human already worships something.
  • God! Which? — Which god is the Real One.
  • God! Where? — Where He is to be found — in ourselves, in creation, in His nearness.
  • God! How? — How we connect with Him through prayer, supplication, and reflection.
  • God! When? — When to turn to Him, and why the answer is always today.
  • God! What? — What He truly wants from us: justice, sincerity, gratitude.
  • God! Why Not? — Why some people still reject Him.

And now comes the most urgent question of all: God! Now!

The Gift of the Present Moment

Every breath you take is a gift. Every beat of your heart is a reminder that you are still alive — still being given another chance.

The past is gone. Tomorrow is uncertain. The only time you truly have is now.

Yet most people live anywhere but now:

  • They cling to regrets of the past.
  • They chase dreams of the future.
  • They miss the only moment they can control: today.

Faith begins by seizing the moment.

Life Is Short

Look around you. How quickly years pass. Childhood becomes adulthood. Strength turns to weakness. Friends and family depart.

The greatest illusion is that we have time. But time is not ours — it is God’s.

A single accident, a sudden illness, an unexpected event can end everything. The grave is full of people who thought they still had tomorrow.

The Peace of Turning Now

The one who turns to God today gains a peace the world cannot give.

  • Peace in knowing life has meaning.
  • Peace in facing hardship with strength.
  • Peace in relationships built on love and justice.
  • Peace in preparing for what comes after death.

Those who delay often live restless, chasing temporary comfort while ignoring eternal truth. Those who turn now live with a calm the world cannot shake.

No Second Chances

Once death arrives, the chance is over. Regret at that moment is too late.

You cannot buy time. You cannot bribe death. You cannot negotiate with eternity.

The only chance is now, while your heart still beats, while your breath still flows.

The Call

Turn to God now. Not tomorrow. Not later. Not someday.

Speak to Him today. Whisper:

  • “Guide me.”
  • “Forgive me.”
  • “Bless me.”
  • “Protect me.”
  • “Accept from me.”
  • “Thank You.”

This is where it begins. With one moment of honesty. With one step toward Him.

Reflection

So, God! Now!

Because life is short. Because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Because death is certain. Because eternity is waiting.

The time to turn to Him is not later — it is now.

Chapter 9 – God! Who?

After all these questions, one rises above the rest: Who is God?

Is He a distant ruler, seated beyond the stars, unreachable and uncaring? Is He a harsh judge, waiting to punish every mistake? Is He like human kings — demanding, proud, and selfish?

No. The Real God is unlike anything we imagine. He is greater than all creation, yet closer to us than our own breath.

The Uniqueness of God

The Real God is One. Eternal. Absolute. Unlike creation in every way.

  • He has no partners, no rivals, no equals.
  • He depends on nothing, while everything depends on Him.
  • He is not born, nor does He die.
  • He is beyond comparison, beyond limits, beyond imagination.

He is not a human being, not a spirit, not a force of nature. He is the Creator of all beings, all spirits, all forces of nature.

The Names and Attributes of God

To know God is to know His qualities. They are not empty titles — they are living truths that shape how we understand Him and how we live.

  • The Most Merciful — His mercy embraces all creation.
  • The Most Compassionate — His care reaches each individual soul.
  • The King — He is the true Sovereign, and all authority belongs to Him.
  • The Holy, The Pure — He is perfect, untouched by weakness or flaw.
  • The Source of Peace — He is the giver of safety, tranquility, and wellbeing.
  • The Mighty — He cannot be overcome or defeated.
  • The All-Wise — Every decision and action of His is full of wisdom, even when we do not see it.
  • The All-Knowing — He knows the seen and unseen, the past and the future, the secrets of hearts and the whispers of thoughts.
  • The All-Hearing — No cry, no whisper, no prayer is hidden from Him.
  • The All-Seeing — He sees every action, every injustice, every good deed, no matter how small.
  • The Forgiving — He forgives sins again and again, no matter how heavy, if one sincerely returns to Him.
  • The Pardoning — He not only forgives, but erases sins completely.
  • The Loving — His love for His creation is greater than the love of any mother for her child.
  • The Provider — He sustains every creature, from the smallest insect to the greatest empire.
  • The Gentle and Subtle — He cares for His servants in ways they cannot see, weaving blessings into hardships.
  • The Preserver — He protects and guards all things, keeping the universe in balance.
  • The Truth — He is the ultimate reality; everything else is temporary.
  • The Ever-Living — He never dies, never weakens, never fades.
  • The Sustainer of All — All existence depends on Him at every moment.

God Is Near

Some think of God as far away, watching from a distance. But He is nearer than we realize.

He knows your secrets, your unspoken fears, your hidden tears. He knows the thought before it reaches your tongue.

You are never alone. Even in your loneliest hour, He is with you.

God Is Merciful

Many people fear God as if He were only waiting to punish. But His mercy is greater than His wrath.

He welcomes those who turn back, even if they return after a lifetime of mistakes. He is patient, giving chance after chance, until the final breath.

God Is Just

Others think God is unfair because the world contains suffering and injustice. But God is never unjust.

Injustice comes from people, not from Him. Every wrong will be corrected. Every act of oppression will be repaid. Every good deed will be rewarded.

If justice is not completed in this life, it will be completed in the next.

Reflection

So, God! Who?

Not a distant ruler. Not a harsh tyrant. Not a human-like figure made in our image.

He is God — the One, the Eternal, the Merciful, the Compassionate, the Just, the Loving, the All-Knowing, the Forgiving, the Provider, the Preserver, the Truth, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of All.

To know Him is the beginning of loving Him. And to love Him is the beginning of living for Him.

Chapter 10 – God! With Whom?

Faith is personal — no one can believe on your behalf. Yet the journey to God is not meant to be taken alone.

Who you walk with can either lift you toward God or pull you away from Him. Companionship shapes your thoughts, your habits, and even your destiny.

The Power of Companionship

Human beings are social. We mirror those around us.

  • If your friends love wealth, you will chase wealth.
  • If they run after fame, you will crave fame.
  • If they remember God, you will remember Him.

A bad companion can ruin a lifetime of effort. A good companion can save you from falling.

The Strength of Community

Faith grows stronger in community.

  • Prayer feels different when prayed together.
  • Charity spreads further when given collectively.
  • Support feels deeper when shared.

The faithful are like one family — bound not by race, wealth, or nationality, but by their belief in God and their commitment to truth.

Be Careful Whom You Join

But you must be careful when you join others. Religion, unfortunately, is full of misunderstanding, distortion, and extremism.

If you sense hate towards others — no matter who they are.
If you hear prejudice against people of other faiths.
If you encounter talk of anger, superiority, or violence.
If you see anything that conflicts with the peaceful nature of God and His call to coexistence — turn away.

Faith must never be built on hate. The Real God is peace, mercy, and justice — not cruelty, fanaticism, or blind obedience.

Always use your mind and good judgment. Never accept anything that doesn’t make sense. Avoid the herd mentality at any cost.

Guarding Against Toxic Influence

Not everyone deserves influence over your life. Some will laugh at your faith, tempt you toward sin, or make you feel ashamed of belief. Others will try to use “religion” as a tool of power, control, or manipulation.

You don’t owe loyalty to those who poison your spirit. Your loyalty belongs to God alone.

Your time and your heart are too valuable to waste on voices that darken you.

Be the Good Companion

It is not only about choosing the right people — it is also about becoming the right person.

Sometimes you are the influence. Sometimes you are the one who lifts others up or pulls them down.

Be the companion who brings peace, kindness, honesty, and the remembrance of God. If you do, you will not only strengthen yourself, but also help others on their path.

Practical Steps

  1. Choose Friends Wisely – Ask yourself: does this person bring me closer to God or pull me away?
  2. Build a Faithful Circle – Even one sincere companion is more valuable than a crowd of careless ones.
  3. Join a Healthy Community – Look for gatherings that are built on peace, justice, and sincerity — not hatred or blind tradition.
  4. Think for Yourself – Use reason and conscience; never follow blindly.
  5. Be the Influence – Shine your light; sometimes you are the answer to someone else’s prayer.

Reflection

So, God! With Whom?

Because no one walks this journey alone. To walk with people of remembrance is to remember God. To walk with people of hatred, pride, or forgetfulness is to forget Him.

Faith is personal, but it is also communal. To walk toward God is to walk with those who are walking toward Him too — and to stay far from those who corrupt His message.

Chapter 11 – God! Why Me?

Life is governed by causality. Every cause has an effect, and every action has a reaction.

As a true believer, you must understand that you have been entrusted with your body, your means, and your abilities. To get the best results, you must abide by the rules that God has built into life.

  • You cannot abuse your body and then expect not to get sick.
  • You cannot overspend and expect your money to last forever.
  • If you don’t raise your children properly, don’t expect them to treat you well.
  • If you don’t work with honesty and skill, don’t expect to be promoted.
  • If you are not sincere in what you do, don’t expect it to produce good results.
  • If you don’t fix the roof, don’t expect it not to leak when it rains.

We always have to remember: all we can do is make decisions within the limits of our means. But for anything to happen, God must will it to happen.

Our will is limited within God’s will.

A real believer accepts this fact and lives by it — because some things we strongly desire may actually harm us, and some things we fear may turn out to be good for us. Since we do not know the future, the only safe path is to always remain thankful.

The Merchant’s Story

It is told that in the old times, a merchant was waiting in his store for the largest shipment of his career. His servants rushed in, panicked, and told him that his ship had hit a rock and drowned right in front of the port.

He paused for a moment, then said: “Thank God.”

Shortly after, they returned with joy: “It was another ship that drowned. Yours has docked safely and is being unloaded. Your wealth has doubled!”

The merchant paused again, and said: “Thank God.”

His son, puzzled, asked him: “Father, when they said you lost everything, you said ‘Thank God.’ Then when they said you had doubled your wealth, you also said ‘Thank God!’ Why?”

The father replied: “When they told me I lost everything, I looked into my heart and found it was not sad, so I thanked God. When they told me my wealth had doubled, I looked into my heart and found it was not overjoyed, so I thanked God. A real believer thanks God in every situation — whether loss or gain — because both are a test from Him.”

Trials Are Part of Life

When hardship comes, people cry out: “Why me?” But trials are not signs of abandonment. They are part of life’s design.

  • Sometimes they are a test, to strengthen us.
  • Sometimes they are a punishment, to remind us of our wrongs.
  • Sometimes they are a gift in disguise, steering us away from harm we cannot see.

Whatever their form, they are never meaningless.

The Limited Will of Man

We plan, but God decides. We act, but God controls the outcome.

A believer accepts this balance: we must act responsibly, but the results belong to God.

This humility saves us from arrogance when we succeed and despair when we fail.

Gratitude in All Things

If you truly believe in God, you accept whatever happens to you — whether it feels good or bad. It is either:

  • a gift,
  • a test,
  • or a correction for something wrong you did.

And the right reaction is always gratitude.

Instead of looking at those above you, look at those below you. Instead of envying those who have more, notice those who suffer worse. Gratitude transforms hardship into strength and prosperity into humility.

Reflection

So, God! Why Me?

Because life is a series of tests. Because your will is limited within His. Because what feels bitter may be a hidden blessing, and what feels sweet may be a hidden harm.

The answer to “Why me?” is always the same: to remind you to turn back to God and to thank Him in every state.

Chapter 12 – God! Forever?

No matter how long you live, life in this world is short. Days turn into months, months into years, and years into decades — yet in the blink of an eye, childhood becomes old age, and health fades into weakness.

Everything in this life ends. Wealth disappears. Beauty fades. Power collapses. Relationships separate. Dreams pass away.

Only one reality remains: death.

The Only Certainty

Death is the only sure thing in life. No one can escape it.

It does not matter if you are rich or poor, powerful or weak, healthy or sick. Every human being will eventually face the same fate.

  • Kings die just as beggars die.
  • The strong fall just as the weak fall.
  • The famous are buried just as the forgotten are buried.

Death is the ultimate proof of God’s dominance over us.

Before Life and After Life

Before this life, God brought all human beings to Him and made them testify to His existence and might. Then He sent each soul into this world, through their parents, as a gate into this lower life.

The body is only a vessel. The soul is the life within it — the breath of God’s command.

  • If the soul leaves the vessel, the body dies.
  • If the vessel is cracked by disease, accident, or murder, the soul departs.

Death is not the end of the soul, only the separation of body and spirit.

The Waiting Place

After death, the soul goes to a waiting place — a state of existence between this life and the Day of Resurrection.

There, the soul remains until the moment when God gathers all creation and restores every soul to its body in a new, immortal form.

On that day, no one will be able to deny Him. Every human being will see the truth they once ignored.

Eternity

Compared to eternity, life on earth is like a drop of water compared to the ocean.

This world is only a test. The real life is the one that never ends.

  • For those who lived with faith, justice, and gratitude, eternity will be peace, joy, and nearness to God.
  • For those who denied Him, worshiped false gods, or lived in arrogance and cruelty, eternity will be regret, separation, and loss.

The Urgency of Perspective

Knowing that this life is temporary changes everything.

  • Success is no longer about wealth or fame, but about preparing for eternity.
  • Failure is no longer about losing money or status, but about losing faith and wasting life.
  • Suffering is no longer meaningless, but a test with eternal reward.
  • Blessings are no longer accidents, but opportunities to be thankful.

When you see life through the lens of eternity, every moment becomes meaningful.

Reflection

So, God! Forever?

Yes. Forever.

This life is temporary. The Hereafter is eternal. Death is not the end — it is the beginning of a new stage.

The only question is: what will your forever look like?

Chapter 13 – God! You.

Cause is patience, and blessing is the effect.

The best way to announce your belief in God is to be patient in the face of hardship. Every hardship carries within it a seed of blessing — and when you endure with faith, that seed blossoms into reward.

Patience invites God’s blessing:

  • He blesses your body so you enjoy health and strength.
  • He blesses your money so it lasts and brings you peace.
  • He blesses your car, your house, your spouse, and your children.
  • He blesses everything you care for, and everything you do.

The best way to enjoy your limited life is to always be grateful to God. Gratitude transforms the ordinary into extraordinary.

Be content, and you become the richest person.
Be content, and you become the happiest person.

Life and Death

Do not fear death. It is not the end. It is only the last stop in your journey of life — the path to your final destination, back to where you came from.

Before this life, your soul was with God. Through your parents, you were given a body and a chance to live on earth. At death, the soul returns to God, and one day it will be joined again with a perfected, immortal body.

Death is not destruction. It is transition. It is not loss. It is return.

Your Responsibility

But between birth and death lies the test. You cannot choose the day of your birth, and you cannot choose the day of your death. But you can choose:

  • Whom you worship.
  • How you live.
  • Whether you trust God or turn away.
  • Whether you are patient in trials and grateful in blessings.

Your eternity depends on your choices.

Your Meeting with God

One day, you will stand before the One who gave you life. He will ask:

“What did you do with the life I entrusted to you? Did you live with patience? Did you live with gratitude? Did you live with justice, mercy, and love?”

No excuses will matter. No wealth, power, or fame will follow you. Only your faith and deeds will remain.

Reflection

So, God! You.

This book is not about abstract questions. It is about you — your soul, your life, your journey, your choices.

Patience is your strength. Gratitude is your wealth. Blessing is your reward. Death is not the end, but the return.

The Real God is calling you today. The only question is: how will you answer?
