A Dog in the Balcony

Published in August 27, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … My family members desire to raise a dog inside the balcony of our house to guard it against thieves, but I am afraid this will render our house impure and thus make it unfit for performing prayers; what do you think?  … Thank you …

Answer:

Please read more within our previous fatwas before posing repeated questions; we quote to you a previous fatwa of ours found in this group of fatwas (Fatwas Part One-Hundred-and-Sixty-Eight) which can be found on this link: (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=20773).

About Abou Hurayrah and Dogs!

Published in July 16, 2020

Question: …  Dear Sir, … What is your own view about the silly hadiths authored/invented by Abou Hurayrah (the narrator revered by Sunnites) about hating dogs and considering them as 'impure' creatures and about angels never entering into houses which contain dogs as pets........ …  Thank you …

Answer:

We refer you to our article about Abou Hurayrah; we hope that before posing repeated questions, you will read our archive of writings and watch our YouTube subtitled-into-English videos (here is the link of our subtitled-into-English video about the unjustified hatred of dogs by Sunnite Salafists/Wahabis:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgvTvIQDvEc). We briefly assert here that no animals are impure in Islam; Islam is never against dogs or any other animals; it is OK to hunt using dogs and eat the hunted animals brought by such dogs (see 5:4). A dog is mentioned in the story of the people of the cave in the Quranic Chapter 18. Of course, no Quranic legislations are to be inferred from Quranic stories; yet, the story of the people of the cave and their dog proves that dogs are never impure/unclean. The Holy Quran never mentions that dogs are impure or unclean. There are no Quranic prohibitions involving owning or touching dogs. The Lord God in the Holy Quran describes the misguided ones as animals/cattle (and donkeys and dogs; see 62:5 & 7:175-177) to despise them and also to warn true monotheists so as not to imitate the ways of the misguided/misguiding polytheists. This does not signify at all that such animals are unclean, abominations, or impure.

About the Quranic Verse 17:9

Published in August 27, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I desire to understand how this Quranic phrase "This Quran guides to what is most upright..." (17:9) is comprehensive and general; what is it all about? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "This Quran guides to what is most upright, and it gives good news to the believers who do good deeds, that they will have a great reward." (17:9). Of course, as per our previous writings, the Holy Quran (the Only Source of Islam) is the Straight Path, the Way, the Guidance, and the Light; hence, the Holy Quran is the upright religion. There are two ranks of Paradise dwellers as per the Quranic Chapter 56; i.e., the Forerunners and those on the Right. The Lord God urges the pious monotheistic believers to be among higher rank: the Forerunners. This will take place when one follows the Quranic teachings as best as one can: "And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord..." (39:55); "Repel evil by what is better..." (23:96); "Tell My servants to say what is best..." (17:53). Of course, monotheists with less quantity and quality of good deeds will join those on the Right which is the lower rank in Paradise.

Satan and Qorayish

Published in August 22, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I do not understand how, as per the Quranic verse 8:48, Satan whispered evil into the Qorayish tribesmen so that they would fight the early believers of Yathreb. Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "“You cannot be defeated by any people today, and I am at your side.” But when the two armies came in sight of one another, he turned on his heels, and said, “I am innocent of you; I see what you do not see; I fear God; God is severe in punishment.”" (8:48). Of course, this means that Satan let them down after urging them to be aggressors. Devils whisper evil to all human beings including prophets/messengers; this is why the Lord  God has said the following to Muhammad: "And when a whisper from Satan assails you, take refuge in God. He is Hearing and Knowing." (7:200). Satan and his devils cannot fully control monotheists who apply the command found in 7:200; they fully control misguided disbelievers/polytheists especially those who are aggressors and criminals; each of them has a companion among the devils; devilish companions misguide them and make misguidance appear to them as though it were guidance; such devilish companions make the Muhammadans clergymen and authors ascribe lies (i.e., devilish revelations/narratives) to the Lord God and propagate them among people. Thus, Satan seduced the Qorayish tribesmen, who were vain hypocrites, to repel others away from the Holy Quran (i.e., the Straight Path leading to the Lord God) by fighting the early believers; the Meccans of Qorayish wished to be able to annihilate them.

About the Quranic Verse 2:249

Published in August 15, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I do not understand the test imposed by the Lord God on the troops of the Israelites who passed by the river as per 2:249; they were not supposed to drink from this river; why? ......... … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "When Talut set out with the troops, he said, “God will be testing you with a river. Whoever drinks from it does not belong with me. But whoever does not drink from it, does belong with me, except for whoever scoops up a little with his hand.” But they drank from it, except for a few of them. Then, when he crossed it, he and those who believed with him, they said, “We have no strength to face Jalut and his troops today.” But those who knew that they would meet God said, “How many a small group has defeated a large group by God’s will. God is with the patient ones.”" (2:249). So, those few faithful ones who passed the test/ordeal are those who drank little (a handful to keep one alive) and remained with Talut, and those majority of little faith drank copiously though they knew this means they must leave the self-defense troops led by Talut. The remaining few were steadfast and Allah has granted them victory. The lesson to be drawn here is to practice self-control and self-restraint; one should not follow one's whims or desires so as not to lose one's soul by entering into Hell which is the fate of disbelieving, disobedient people.

The Quranic Term (Burdens)

Published in August 11, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Quranic term (burdens) is mentioned a lot in the Quranic text; what does it refer to? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Quranic term (burdens) is employed figuratively and literally; this is about physical, literal burdens we know: "And the livestock...And they carry your loads/burdens..." (16:5-7); this is about physical, literal ones we do not know which are linked to the Hour when it takes place: "When the earth is shaken with its quake. And the earth brings out its loads/burdens." (99:1-2). The figurative sense is about sins and how they will look/feel like on the Last Day as a source of disgrace/shame: "Those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Follow our way, and we will carry your sins.” In no way can they carry any of their sins. They are liars. They will carry their own burdens, and other burdens with their own. And they will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection concerning what they used to fabricate." (29:12-13); "Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them, and say, “Where are My associates for whose sake you used to dispute?” Those who were given knowledge will say, “Today shame and misery are upon the disbelievers.”" (16:27); "“Our Lord, whomever You commit to the Fire, You have disgraced. The unjust ones will have no supporters.”" (3:192).

About the Quranic Verse 18:27

Published in August 5, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  What is meant by the underlined term here: "And read what was revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. There is no changing His words, and you will find no refuge except in Him." (18:27)? What does the term (refuge) refer to? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

The Quranic verse 18:27 is addressed to Muhammad; the term (refuge) here refers to an escape or a hiding location to which a runaway person would resort. Of course, the pious monotheists have no refuge except their Lord God (i.e., His Word: the Holy Quran); He has commanded Muhammad to announce the following: "Say, “I pray only to my Lord, and I never associate anyone with Him.” Say, “It is not in my power to harm you, nor to bring you to right conduct.” Say, “No one can protect me from God, and I will not find any refuge except with Him. Except for a proclamation from God and His messages. He who disobeys God and His Messenger - for him is the Fire of Hell, in which they will dwell forever.”" (72:20-23). Of course, the term (Messenger) here is the Holy Quran itself. In times of anxiety and fear, the pious monotheists resort to reading the Holy Quran to be relieved and reassured; their fears are thus allayed; this is their real refuge. No one can escape/evade the Lord God; as for those who believe in other discourses/books alongside with the Holy Quran, their faith is lacking and little, and they are polytheists even if they do not realize this fact. The term (refuge) is also mentioned in the same sense  found in 72:22 in the following two Quranic verses: "...and they realized that there was no refuge from God, except in Him..." (9:118); "Respond to your Lord before there comes from God a Day that cannot be turned back. You will have no refuge on that Day, and no possibility of denial." (42:47).

About the Quranic Term (Arkas)

Published in August 3, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What does the term (arqas) mean? It is mentioned twice in the Quran (I mean in 4:88 and 4:91).......... … Thank you …

Answer:

It is a verb; it means to recant or to return to disbelief after an initial declaration of belief. Some Desert-Arabs pretended to convert in order to spy on Muhammad in Yathreb and to help find weak points for the Qorayish troops to attack the city after knowing all about its defenses. Some Desert-Arabs fluctuated between belief and disbelief; some of them breached pledges and agreements of peace and of defense. The only ones among them to be trusted as believers at the time were the ones who immigrated to Yathreb and settled in it while being ready to participate in the military self-defense endeavors: "What is the matter with you, divided into two factions regarding the hypocrites, when God Himself has exposed their disbelief/arkasahom on account of what they did? Do you want to guide those whom God has led astray? Whomever God leads astray - you will never find for him a way. They would love to see you disbelieve, just as they disbelieve, so you would become equal. So do not befriend any of them, unless they emigrate in the way of God. If they turn away, seize them and execute them wherever you may find them; and do not take from among them allies or supporters. Except those who join people with whom you have a treaty, or those who come to you reluctant to fight you or fight their own people. Had God willed, He would have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. If they withdraw from you, and do not fight you, and offer you peace, then God assigns no excuse for you against them. You will find others who want security from you, and security from their own people. But whenever they are tempted into discord, they plunge/arkaso into it. So if they do not withdraw from you, nor offer you peace, nor restrain their hands, seize them and execute them wherever you find them. Against these, We have given you clear authorization. Never should a believer kill another believer, unless by error. Anyone who kills a believer by error must set free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the victim’s family, unless they remit it as charity. If the victim belonged to a people who are hostile to you, but is a believer, then the compensation is to free a believing slave. If he belonged to a people with whom you have a treaty, then compensation should be handed over to his family, and a believing slave set free. Anyone who lacks the means must fast for two consecutive months, by way of repentance to God. God is All-Knowing, Most Wise." (4:88-91).

You Have No Rights in This Case

Published in August 4, 2020

Question:  … Dear Sir, …  After the death of my father; my mother got married to a man she trusted and loved so much. My stepfather was given money by mother to buy assets...etc., and such items are written in his own name; i.e., such possessions belong to him; he added his own money within such possessions/assets; their money are mixed inseparably that way. My stepfather lavished money on my mother to please her and to satisfy all her needs and more; yet, the profits she gained were typically given by her to him willingly; my mother was taken ill suddenly and while she was hospitalized, she died days later. I cannot inherit her since she owned nothing at all. All possessions/assets are written in the name of her husband in legal, valid documents of ownership! I cannot resort to courts and take any legal action against him; everything belongs to him though my mother's money is involved in everything! My widowed stepfather told me he owes me nothing since such money was given to him willingly by my mother and such money and assets belong to him only. He tells me that since he loved my mother so much, he will give me a sum of money as a gift: only 10 thousand dinars! I refused and I felt insulted! I feel that he deceives me! I think he owes me heaps of money! What is your own view?   … Thank you …

Answer:

You have no rights at all in this case; you have no inheritance share since your mother owned nothing. She gave what she gave to your stepfather willingly and such items legally belong only to him. During her lifetime, she was free to do anything with her possessions and wealth; they are not yours; her husband is not unjust towards you and he owes you nothing.

About Donkeys

Published in July 22, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Donkeys are good animals which are useful to peasants and other people; yet, in the Arab culture, donkeys are despised and used in verbal insults and mockery; is the Quran the reason behind it since the donkeys are mentioned mostly in negative contexts? What do you think? … Thank you …

Answer:

You are extremely mistaken. What you say about the Holy Quran is wrong; the Quranic text does not despise donkeys (or any animals) at all. Donkeys are mentioned here as part of bounties of animals granted to human beings: "And the horses, and the mules, and the donkeys - for you to ride, and for luxury. And He creates what you do not know." (16:8). A donkey is mentioned in the parable of the man who slept for 100 years and was revived/resuscitated miraculously by the Lord God (see 2:259). Luqman advised his son never to raise his voice like donkeys who bark; this does not mean that donkeys are bad or despised: "And moderate your stride, and lower your voice. The most repulsive of voices is the donkey’s voice.”" (31:19). Donkeys are not deemed bad or despised when those who disregard God's Book/Scriptures are likened to the donkeys who cannot read, ponder, or appreciate the value of the Divine Book: "The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah, but then failed to uphold it, is like the donkey carrying books. Miserable is the example of the people who denounce God’s Verses. God does not guide the unjust people." (62:5); "We have destined for Hell multitudes of jinn and humans. They have hearts with which they do not understand. They have eyes with which they do not see. They have ears with which they do not hear. These are like cattle. In fact, they are further astray. These are the heedless." (7:179); "Have you seen him who chose his desire as his god? Would you be a guardian for him? Or do you assume that most of them hear or understand? They are just like cattle, but even more misguided in their way." (25:43-44); the polytheistic disbelievers are the ones despised in the Holy Quran and not the donkeys or cattle. In their culture, the Arab Muhammadans despise donkeys/mules and use them in verbal insults; yet, if donkeys were to talk, they would loudly declare how much they despise the planet of the Muhammadans.

Never Forgiving my Brother!

Published in August 6, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … When I was a three-year-old child, my father died; I was the ward/protégé of my big brother; I mean he was appointed legally as my guardian. My brother is an unjust man; he used to beat me a lot for no reason when I was a child; I was terrified whenever I heard his voice; he desired to never allow me to finish my education; yet, my relatives convinced him to avoid such a stigma; I finished my university education and I was employed in a firm. When I demanded my inheritance share (stretches of land in a fertile village plus money sums and a big house) from my brother left to me by our late father, my brother arrogantly refused under the pretext that he spent a lot on my education! Because I fear his revenge, I never sued my brother. I invoked God's wrath and curse upon him in my prayers for years. I continued to live and work in the capital of my native country; I avoided visiting my native village. Years later, my brother was diagnosed with cancer; he was dying since his ailment was terminal; he sent for me but I never visited him; I could never forgive him; he summoned me through man mediators to see him in his death bed and to forgive him for his cruelty, but I refused to see him. eventually, he sent me a cassette tape with his voice, weeping and beseeching me to forgive him; he confessed all his sins/crimes against me since my childhood. He died two days after he sent me this cassette tape; he never gave me my rightful inheritance share. This is why I don't think that his repentance is sincere; my relatives blame me for not visiting him before his death; yet, my conscience is clear. I still cannot forgive him........... What do you think?    … Thank you …

Answer:

It is OK for you to never forgive him; the wounds he left on your soul are unforgettable; they are branded in your memory and cannot be removed; if we were in your shoes, we would never forgive and forget. Of course, your brother did not repent; repentance means making amends and restore rights of others and to perform many good deeds to atone for the sins committed; he had no time, as a dying, bedridden man, to do so. He even did not give you your inheritance share. This means he never had pricks of conscience until it is too late; he should have given you your rights before his death; the fact that he did not do so means that he died as a sinful, unjust person.

The Root (Kh/R/S) in the Quranic Text

Published in August 21, 2020

Question: …  Dear Sir, … I cannot understand the terms (yakhrusoon) in 6:116 and (kharrasoon) in 51:10. Any ideas? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The Quranic/Arabic root (kh/r/s) means to tell lies especially about the Lord God. this means to follow conjectures/narratives/discourses and fabrications/falsehoods/hadiths regarding religion (ascribed falsely to Allah and/or to His messengers such as Muhammad) instead of following the Truth or the Divine Book/Scripture (e.g., the Holy Quran). Of course, fabrications in religion are authored and spread by clergymen and theology authors; e.g., thousands of thousands of hadiths are ascribed to God and to Muhammad by Shiite, Sufi, and Sunnite authors. Most people in all eras are misguided and misguiding because they follow such lies and reject the Truth (i.e., the Divine Book). The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "Perish the imposters./kharrasoon." (51:10); " If you were to obey most of those on earth, they would divert you from God’s Path. They follow nothing but assumptions, and they only conjecture/yakhrusoon." (6:116); "...Say, “Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow nothing but conjecture, and you only guess/takhrusoon.”" (6:148); "And they say, “Had the Dominant Lord willed, we would not have worshiped them.” But they have no knowledge of that; they are merely guessing/yakhrusoon." (43:20); "Certainly, to God belongs everyone in the heavens and everyone on earth. Those who invoke other than God do not follow partners; they follow only assumptions, and they only guess/yakhrusoon." (10:66).

About the Quranic Verse 90:11

Published in August 22, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by 90:11? Any ideas? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "But he did not surmount the obstacle." (90:11); this is explained in the very next verses; the obstacle is the overcome one's natural greed and stinginess in order to perform good deeds to gratify thee Lord God: "And what will explain to you what the obstacle is. The freeing of a slave. Or the feeding on a day of hunger. An orphan near of kin. Or a destitute in the dust." (90:12-16). "...Whoever is protected from his natural greed - it is they who are the successful." (59:9).

Israel and the UAE

Published in August 23, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  Days ago, the UAE and Israel declared normalization on all levels; what is your view of this and how can you explain this? Any ideas? …  Thank you …

Answer:

This is a good thing. Close relations between both countries exist in secret years ago. Of course, other Arab countries have close relations with Israel but in secret while their hypocritical rulers curse Jews and Israel in their media to amuse and divert/distract their subjects by red herrings. The rulers of the UAE are thus more courageous and transparent as they adhere to political peace without hypocrisy. We are never against peace among all nations of the world; Quranists are people of peace and fraternity among all nations. Of course, in the late 1970s when Egypt made peace with Israel after Egypt has restored the Egyptian Sinai peninsula, the Gulf monarchies hated this peace and condemned and shunned the Egyptian regime of Sadat for a while. This has changed years ago; Egypt is the very first Arab country to normalize with Israel; it is OK if other Arab countries would do so, in public, while they would stop their media from demonizing Israel and Jews.

Temporary Marriages Are Permissible

Published in August 23, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I travel a lot because I am a businessman; two wives left me (through divorce) because of my long durations of absence; I desire to try temporary marriages in the countries where I travel; I will not deceive the brides; I will tell them beforehand about my intentions................Is this OK within Islam? What do you think?  …  Thank you …

Answer:

Temporary marriages are OK and permissible in Islam since the Quranic text does not mention them at all; this means they are not prohibited; of course, temporary marriages are like ordinary marriages: witnesses, dowries, & registered contracts. Of course, informing the wife-to-be frankly about everything is honorable and commendable. Agreement must be reached about all details (esp. financial rights of the brides like ordinary marriages) and duration of the marriage which should be written in the marriage contracts; the witnesses signing the marriage contracts should preferably be the same ones also within signing the divorce papers. Of course, temporary marriages are like ordinary marriages in the sense that if you die while being married to her, your wife will inherit her share from your wealth; you will inherit your share of her wealth if she dies while you are her husband. she must have her waiting periods after divorce or after being widowed. Likewise, all Quranic legislations apply in case you have children within temporary marriages; it is OK if the temporary marriages turn into permanent ones, provided that mutual consent is obtained first.

About the Quranic Verse 6:91

Published in August 24, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  What is meant by the term (scrolls) here: "They do not value God as He should be valued, when they say, “God did not reveal anything to any human being.” Say, “Who revealed the Book which Moses brought - a light and guidance for humanity?” You put it on scrolls, displaying them, yet concealing much. And you were taught what you did not know - neither you, nor your ancestors. Say, “God;” then leave them toying away in their conjectures." (6:91)? Any ideas?  …  Thank you …

Answer:

Scrolls refer to books in general or any written texts in papers or parchments or any other material. The Quranic verse 6:91 talks about some Israelites (or the People of the Book) in Arabia during the lifetime of Muhammad who copied the Book/Scripture of Moses in several scrolls while distorting the text by removing many parts of it. Of course, the disbelievers in Arabia demanded from Muhammad to make scrolls/Scriptures descend from heaven to them as a miracle: "Had We sent down upon you a book on paper scrolls, and they had touched it with their hands, those who disbelieve would have said, “This is nothing but plain magic.”" (6:7). Muhammad wrote the entirety of the Quranic text with his own hands shortly before his death, and copies were made from his copy. The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "Those who disbelieve say, “This is nothing but a lie that he made up, and others have helped him at it.” They have committed an injustice and a perjury. And they say, “Tales of the ancients; he wrote them down; they are dictated to him morning and evening.”" (25:4-5)

Removing the Veil/Hijab

Published in August 26, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Having read your archive of writings, I've converted to Quranism as the Only True Islam months ago. My question is as follows: Should I advise my wife to remove the veil/hijab or not? If I forced her to do so, would this be sinful or not? What if she refuses? I have not told her about my Quranism yet. ...... Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, hijab is never part of Islam. The Holy Quran does not mention anything about women's heads or hair and does not require covering them. As for keeping or removing any headwear for women, this is a personal matter for each woman, provided that any headwear is never ascribed to Islam. It is sinful to force your wife (or anyone else) within any religious matters. Religious freedom is part of Islamic/Quranic higher values and sharia principles. You can only advise her to remove it; this advice is never sinful or prohibited; you can talk to her about Quranism and that Islam never requires covering heads/hair of women; you can advise her to read our archive and watch our YouTube videos; later on, your wife can choose for herself.

Cutting off Hands of Thieves

Published in August 24, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … (1) You did not tell me anything informative about how to immigrate to the USA though I asked you about this many times in previous email messages. (2) Some thinkers on YouTube assume that the Quran does not intend to cut off hands of thieves but to make marks/slits on them as a stigma; what do you think?  … Thank you …

Answer:

 (1) We told you that immigration to the USA is almost impossible now in 2020. (2) the culture of shame and disgrace makes some people feel ashamed of the Quranic sharia laws; they seek to give false meanings to some verses which 'embarrass' them while they seek to please non-Muslims especially in the West. Please do not take heed of such people. we said before that corporal penalties in Islam (i.e., flogging fornicators and slanderers who spread sexual rumors about women  + beating wives by husbands + cutting off hands of thieves) are for warning and for reform; they are not applied when the wrongdoers declare their repentance in public. If they repeat the same grave sin, the penalty should be applied since they insist on the same sin and never repented sincerely.

About Animals

Published in August 26, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … In the Quranic Chapter 27, Solomon threatens to torment the hoopoe; does this mean that animals would be tormented in the Hereafter? Do animals feel tormented/tortured in this world (e.g., when slaughtered)? How? Any ideas?    … Thank you  …

Answer:

Solomon said the following about the absence of the hoopoe: "I will torment him most severely, or slay him, unless he gives me a valid excuse.”" (27:21). Of course, in contrast to human souls, animals are not tested in this world and have no sharia; therefore, they will not be judged to be tormented in Hell or to enjoy pleasures of Paradise. As for this world, animals have instincts (they are not free agents like human beings), and they cannot feel too much pain in the same manner like human beings. Carnivore hunt and kill other animals; this is no sin at all; in contrast, souls have discernment and must apply the Divine Law; they know they must not commit murder. Of course, all (non-)human creatures will be resurrected on the Last Day; yet, human souls will be judged and will never die (inside Hell or Paradise); this does not apply to animals/creatures which will die/end eventually after being resurrected.

Answer:

You should read more within our website before posing repeated questions which we have answered many times in our fatwas, articles, books, and videos. We have written a lot about Sufi myths and about Isnad; we have said that singing/reciting the Quran (or listening to it being sung/recited) is a grave sin and a mockery of the Quran.

Many Questions

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I came across your great Quranism website several weeks ago; I have some questions which I would like to be permitted to put to you: (1) How can I easily immigrate to the USA (or elsewhere in the West) as a Quranist Muslim? The poverty-stricken town where I live now in the Middle-East is a shithole of veritable hell occupied by human devils who are the extremist polytheists! (2) Could reading/hearing the Quran replace the five daily prayers? (3) What is meant in 4:119 in relation to ears of animals? Were such ears cut?! Why? (4) Are books of hadiths and of exegeses/interpretation the main reason behind divisions, schisms and struggle among Sunnites and Shiites all these centuries?! How?! .........   … Thank you …

Answer:

(1) It is almost impossible now to immigrate to the USA and most EU countries even as a political asylee or as a refugee who suffers religious persecution. You must wait until international circumstances and conditions would be ameliorated before you try again. Most people fail, even before the Coronavirus pandemic, to get an entry visa to the USA; the Americans fear the increase of the number of illegal immigrants. We as an American citizen cannot bring to the USA our persecuted extended family members who live in Egypt. (2) It is an act of worship to read/hear and ponder the Quran but this never replaces the five daily prayers. (3) The polytheists in Arabia used to slit, and not cut, ears of animals sacrificed to their idols, allies/saints/tombs, and deities/gods. Please wait for our article about the term (cut) in the (Quranic Terminology) series of articles which we write intermittently. (4) Each one of the so-called hadiths consists of two items: Isnad (i.e. series of narrators) and text. We, Quranists, disbelieve in both Isnad and texts of all hadiths; they are mere lies and they have nothing to do with Muhammad; he never uttered them; they are never part of Islam. The texts of the hadiths reflect the dominant culture of their authors; some fabricators/authors of hadiths aimed to refute claims by Sunnites or Shiites; some aimed at insulting the other party since both are rivals and foes; fabricating hadiths indicates divisions and schisms within the military and intellectual struggles between the two parties for centuries.
